I will defend parts of blue banisters as beautiful but some of the new songs (what if someone had asked picasso not to be sad) were her most uninspired stuff, like, ever. it's crazy how she's gone from those to this

I still need to think whether this is better than COCC, my current #1 :sorry: Probably not, I'm close to hating Peppers and the interludes. Very unnecessary

Candy Necklace is actually Fine China or Yes to Heaven but it got renamed to Candy Necklace to remain as a surprise wbk :clap3: And this was also BOZ's surprise :clap3: I solved the case y'all

I feel like I can finally say that this album lyrically >>> NFR, with melodies too >>>>

I feel like there's no need to defend our NFR he can retire happily

the only thing that NFR > this album it's the visuals

what, like it’s hard

NFR is much easier to digest than this, so i can't really tell which one is better as of now.

Kintsugi gives me Brautiful Child vibes, if you get it you get it. :falcon:

but i can't say that i run when things get hard

it's just that i don't trust myself with my heart

but i've had to let it break a little more

cause they say that's what it's for

Not everyone has different rankings :skull:

Just asking so I have a better idea about the album, where would you guys put The Grants, does it belong to the best portion of the album, somewhere in the middle or the bottom?

Posted

the Judah Smith Interlude - John Batiste Interlude double whiplash as a way to start to the album cause no candy necklace and skipped what I already heard for now...

Just when you think she gave us her everything, she comes up with this. she's otherworldly, best musician alive.

Bottom portion for me. It’s very uneventful.
