NoOneDiesFromLove Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) Not Taco Truck mostly being a VB remix.... kinda here for it tho The Lanita chorus deserved to be the main thing Edited March 17, 2023 by NoOneDiesFromLove

stjosephprey4us Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Was anyone else lowkey expecting (from all the rumors swirling) Yes to Heaven to appear on streaming at midnight tonight?
stjosephprey4us Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 I know we’re all happy about the l word, but just to circle back to that ~*~*surprise~*~* do we realistically think BZ could have somehow gotten wrong information (no, I don’t think he’s in jail for the record) and realized it wasn’t coming anymore and that’s why he’s gone MIA?
justin. Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Album is a masterpiece! The only song I could have done without was Margaret. And honestly, she should have extended Taco Truck and scrapped the VB part. Can’t wait to see how Candy Necklace pulls the two interludes together! Definitely a contender for one of my top 3 Lana albums.

popjunkie88 Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Fishtail almost sounds like Lana's take on an FKA twigs song and im OBSESSED
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 so what's the surprise?? no Yes to heaven?
Venice B Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) Just pressed play on Taco Truck x VB because I was really curious about it and what the **** am I listening to? bye Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Grandfather is one of her best songs. Along with A&W. It will probably get BNM, I fear.

JohnWayneHolland Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 My review: Sweet: a very lovely love song, at times it reminds me of a Disney song, it's the weakest of the first 4 tracks tho. Judah Smith Interlude: too long, i dig the vibe but it should've been like 1:30 MAX. Jon Batiste Interlude: it's cute but, again, too long. Kintsugi: my least favorite so far, it's not bad but there's not a lot going on for it to be over 6 minutes long, by the 3 minutes mark i was already wishing it would end soon. Fingertips: i really like this one, it may not have a defined structure but the lyrics are some of her best, her darkest song lyrically but it sounds really beautiful sonically, kinda gives me "leading lady of a musical singing alone by the river watching the sunset" vibes. Paris, Texas: i like the vibe of this one, it's very lowkey, it's basically Lana singing over that SYML instrumental. Grandfather: the melodies are amazing definitely a stand out track, i like the way it keeps building up. Let The Light In: idk how to explain this but this song feels warm, for those who are familiar with FJM, this sounds like a classic FJM song, i like it. Margaret: i didn't mind this one, it's kinda cute, Jack's voice tho Fishtail: getting LFL vibes from this one, the beat doesn't sound that cheap tho, some auto tuned vocals, "I'm not that smart, but i got things to say". Peppers: it's a fever dream bop, there's a lot going on but it sounds good, definitely a stand out track, very different from the rest of the album except for the second half of A&W. Taco Truck x VB: idk i kinda wish this song was just the Taco Truck part, i really liked it and i feel like it had potential to be a great full song, i though VB was going to be present as a sample or something but it's straight up VB over a trap beat for half of the song
bluevelvetcrowbar Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 Can anyone tell where the sample is from in the transition between Taco Truck and VB? It's like a movie monologue or something

James_Dean Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 The Judah Smith interlude is so ******* stupid
ughgabriel Posted March 17, 2023 Posted March 17, 2023 The way people have described Paris, Texas is sending me, it just sounds (instrumentally) like any other SYML song 😭 To me, this is her best album. Loved how grand it can get and the experimental elements all over the album Sweet was my least favorite on first listen but it will probably grow on me. Margaret did not need Jack’s vocals at all but the song is good, very soundtrack-esque
