ElleDriver Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Tracks flow in a jazzlike trance; classic piano and acoustic songs blend into hip-hop, pop, gospel and choral numbers. eat eat eat

The melodies, the harmonies, the haunting strings! OT: Tunnel! Join the club The title track has always been one of my faves. It sets the scene perfectly for the album. It's ethereal, enchanted, haunting, and world-building. The "dreaming away your life" outro is chill-inducing.
CottageHore Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Maybe I’m just a brat, but it’s so reductive to me how literally every single cover story during every single era, the person writing about Lana always spends the first 10 paragraphs discussing her origin, the misunderstanding in the beginning, the critical reception, bla bla bla. Like, I get that it’s relevant to her character arch as an artist but how many times do we need to hear about it? So much has happened since and we really don’t need a biography anecdote every time she’s on the cover of a magazine. We wanna know what’s going on now, I fear. 80% of that article was reiterating things we’ve known for 11 years and very little was actually said about her inspiration, her new music, etc. Where’s the creativity from these columnists? (stfu and let me fume)
