Beautiful

Nectar of The Gods

Living Legend

Y’all still thinking that in 2023 Lana gives a single minute **** about commercial success for her music in any way shape or form. If there’s one thing she might care a little about, it’s critical reception and even then- she knows the critics are off their rocker 99% of the time :rip:

Why the talk about numbers and doubting her when A&W was over one million streams for sixteen days (two days for above 2 million)?

Lana Del Rey is not like , let's just say some others 😉 who don't pull her streaming numbers.

But they need to make the right choices. Even the best album will go unnoticed if they don't know what to do with it.

The Lana stans are so useless (unless it comes to showing h*le or impersonating members of Lana’s team :toofunny3:). Bear in mind, the Beyoncé stans had her leaks untagged within days of them surfacing :ace:

I don't share the same sentiments, but I'm happy for you

She has a very good chance of getting her best US first week sales since UV (182K). She's done ~80K-110K for all the albums since then besides BB.

Beautiful is a STUNNING song, top 3 of that album easily :ace: Nectar of the Gods is pretty nice as well. the other two... you're right about those ones!

BB is one of her best IMO. Not much of a particular aesthetic she tried to give, just easy listening and great melodies. I can understand why someone who doesn't like less dramatic, more down-tempo and "quieter" music would find it boring, but I love it.

Speaking of BB, which of the songs on that album were unreleased leaked demos? I remember in the original album thread people were complaining some of the tracks were YouTube rips, but I don't remember which.

On topic for DYKTTATUOB: I can already tell Sweet is gonna be an underrated track because it's getting less attention that The Grants and Fingertips, but it's my favorite of the three. It's giving Paradise EP.

That's a little crazy tbh but NOTG is gorgeous for sure - preach! I would have loved to see it updated vs. untouched from 10 years ago, but still...

Indeed one of the best songs on Blegh Blandisters

YES that's what I'm saying! it's in my trinity at this point, with NFR! and Ultraviolence :clap3: it was certainly a grower, but the stripped back and somber vibes of Blue Banisters makes it a really special album imo. and then there's some experimental vibes on songs such as Black Bathing Suit and Wildflower Wildfire that make those songs POP, as well as the beautiful, pure balladry of songs like Arcadia, Beautiful, Nectar of the Gods, and Cherry Blossom. I think people will appreciate that album more as time goes on, but I liked it better than COCC from the get go

also taste, Sweet is so beautiful and I can see myself loving it as much as I love songs like American, Love Song, and Cherry Blossom as time goes on...
