Thematically, Tunnel (I’m no longer calling it DYK sorry) is more deep, unique, and interesting than anything since LFL / Norman. Chem and BB were very obviously growing pains albums (and I say this as a stan of both of them). This is a return to form, and those of you that think it sounds too same-y aren’t listening hard enough. The production (especially the final chorus) is fresh and unlike anything she’s done before. And I agree with what that one user said, she sounds much more confident on this than anything since NFR.
