luckystrike Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 amazing album few of the songs weren't clicking on first listen but every single song has grown on me already. I Believe is her best song
Lucas32 Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Mhh I guess I am in the minority who thinks this doesn't hold a candle to PANG. It's a nice listen overall but nowhere near as catchy, punchy, bold or vibrant as PANG for me. It feels a little subdued to me even though there are a few standouts (mostly the teaser tracks though). I believe is my favorite of the new ones.

Still a great song, just makes me a bit uncomfortable. Think there were better ways to tribute her than alluding to her manner of death. That same lyric made me feel so uncomfortable too.
Dear Reader Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 i’ve been sitting with this album the whole day… I have to confess I had never listened to any of her projects and i’m HOOKED on the quality of this i’ll need to check out her entire discography next… I Believe is truly a next level song
BeachRat Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 the details JUMPED today smoke baseline….uffffff 🥵 i believe’s whole production… the whole pagan poetry of Crude Drawing Of an Angel and Hopedrunk everasking….i still have to comprehend fully… a masterpiece
Abracadabra Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 This album is a literal masterpiece Top 3 atm - Sunset, I Believe, Butterfly Net
DevinWylde Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Pang is the album you listen to in an old rickety shack while reminiscing on your former lover who was lost at sea to a mythical being. Desire is the album you listen to while buzzed in New York wandering about the subways, when you suddenly stumble upon an ancient bloodthirsty God prowling the tunnels.
Club classic Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of Sunset
SpaceOddity Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 Sunset might be the best song she's ever done.
Sugden Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 VIOOOOOOOOOLENT LOVE FEEEEEEEEEEEEL MY EMBRANCE

Welcome to my island (I didn't listen to any songs previously) is by far the best song. So you like the poppiest song on the album which is completely different from almost all of Pang, and don’t like the rest?
AMIT Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I am only now getting around to listening to this. First 3 tracks weren't really hitting, though the first one was good and they all might be growers, but from Sunset onwards it really picks up! Currently on Blood And Butter and it might be my fave so far?? The bridge whew, she put her Kate Bush wig on, I fear.
Ice Cream Skies Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 not sure if this is a 96, but it's definitely at least a 90. sounds like a future classic.
AMIT Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 the last 3 tracks are a 1-2-3 PUNCH I mean Billions alone is not from this world
JoeAg Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 dare I say this is one of the pop bibles? like I know it's only been out less than 24 hours (my time) but it's just... a surplus of pop perfection she REALLY did her thing here
AMIT Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 The production is so lush, clean, varied and everything sounds expensive. The first 3 tracks already grew on me nn. I hadn't heard any single before the album so it's all new to me. The vocals are also on point. She did that on Sunset.
robattack332 Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 Great album, very underwhelming first listen though. While I appreciated it all, it felt like all the more dynamic tracks were already released so I was left discovering the more deep cut songs. They were great, but just felt kinda meh. I feel like she should've saved WTMI until the release. It really is a "Star Is Born" quality to it (song & video), and would've just elevated everything. Maybe it'll catch on more with the release.
Augmented Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 The fact that I’ve only listened to Bunny Is A Rider and intentionally held off from listening to any of the singles/pre releases so I could experience this in full I’m sooo ready!
TrueBlood Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 I'm so happy for the INSANE amount of acclaim this is getting. She's a legend in the making.
DancingShoes Posted February 15, 2023 Posted February 15, 2023 This is incredible! There's no song that gripped me like Look at Me Now but I love every track here.
