Show me the quotes from the article that mention “homophobic”, “racism” and “officially”

DeSantis: *signs into law the Stop WOKE Act and the Don't Say Gay bill that prevents teachers from teaching what are cited within the pieces of legislation as "woke ideologies" on race, sexuality, etc.*

Okay.. well.. what then is a "woke ideology", something DeSantis cited for why he fired the county attorney who is suing him in the court case cited in the OP?

DeSantis' office in a court of law: *clearly define for the first time in court, that wokeism to them is the belief that there is systemic injustice within America, particularly in regards to the criminal justice system"

What's not clicking for you? :celestial5:

There's quite a number of ATRLers who also say they're "tired of woke" and wokeness in general. I wonder if it's the same for them... :oh:

Right winger =\= desantis supporter

Again, if Ron DeSantis is not the mainstream right-wing view when he claims that "wokeism" is a *negative* trait where one "[falsely] thinks there is systemic injustice within America", then it should be easy to cite for all of us the names of numerous right-wing organizations who state that they acknowledge there is systemic injustice, including systemic racism, within America. Can you please name those organizations? :celestial5:

I don’t care about your interpretation. If you make a thread, title it appropriately. If you want to blog about something, do it. See how many people care. But no, you just want the attention.

We live in an era where people don’t read past thread titles, let alone article titles, let alone the actual article. You know this. I know you’re not dumb so stop pretending like you are. When people read your thread title, they see “right wing”, “homophobic”, and “racist”. You know what you’re doing, painting billions of people as bigoted. I l do not care about the details, nobody does. You’re intentionally stirring political division with this thread and you know it.

I’m not talking about organizations, I’m talking about people.

Yes, billions of right-wingers indeed paint themselves as bigots when having right-wing views. And?

DeSantis: *argues that CRT must be banned because it teaches the woke ideology that America and its criminal justice system is systematically racist*

DeSantis: *argues that sexuality and gender cannot be taught in schools because it teaches the woke ideology that LGBT people are systematically oppressed*

DeSantis: *fires county attorney for holding the woke ideology that women are oppressed in America often by sex and class and thus violations of abortion bans require leniency and understanding*

It should really be simple: prove that right-wingers don't deny that there is systemic racism, homophobia, classism or sexism in America and the thread title would then be wrong. :celestial5:

get that closeted bigot!

And to all the 'right wing =\= bigot/racist' defenders i hope yall think beyond ur faux progressive stances, right wing ideology has always rooted itself in upholding the status quo. to be right wing in todays age is to uphold the existing status quo which in turn denies the existence of systemic issues.

being a right winger in america's venn diagram crosses w being a bigot these days, and no ur 'fiscally conservative socially progressive ideas' are not actually good, being pro lgbt rights yet refusing for appropriate taxation, holding officials accountable, universal healthcare, etc. will do nothing but harm the same ppl u claim to fight for.
