I think one reason why is the way it started off at 900k streams and went to over 3m daily. Its pretty wild.

HMC barely peaked at #25 on the weekly Spotify chart. MYL is already #8 and still rising. They're not remotely comparable

HMC peaked at #6 on Billboard Hot 100 lol. Almost top 5 and Meghan' song isn't even in top 10 or 20

It’s already #2 in the UK and quickly rising in the US despite the Xmas song bomb. It’s also going to surpass HMC in streams in a few weeks despite coming out 2 months later.
