I'm sorry but I am so sick of seeing 'wEll DoJA cAt MadE HiM rIcH ' - Dr. Luke's finances are not my responsibility nor any casual listener nor the artists who signed with him before all this was public. He is well-connected, wealthy and successful with or without Doja (compared to the average person), my few streams of Kiss Me More aren't going to make a difference to his wallet. Also with that logic, we wouldn't be able to stream any of Kesha's music, even her new music, which seems so painfully ironic since people want to boycott Luke and his work to support her. There is so many more people's hard work, creativity and artistic direction that goes into Doja's, Kesha's and whoever else's work. Why should we punish them for the actions of one terrible man. 

 

Stop placing the responsibility of his actions onto us listeners and those artists who have absolutely no legal leeway to do anything else.

With Luke it's at least somewhat understandable if people close both eyes, cause he is big name in the industry and has a lot of influence. But what's the excuse for befriending more and more rapists/abusers all the time? Is it some sort of kink? Genuinely asking.

Yeah, that's the thing Kim stans just don't understand: IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY. Luke is gonna be rich no matter what just based on royalties of the many hits he produced in the past. It's about principles, which Kim doesn't have. She VOLUNTARILY started to work with him well after Kesha's allegations came to light, which is very different compared to Doja who signed with him BEFORE those allegations came out.

IT IS ABOUT THE MONEY! And will always be because that’s makes Luke powerful. Both Kim and doja are giving him success, despite one is on his side and the other is not, their actions have the same result. Furthermore im not a Kim stan so this doesnt come from kim fans only

No, it's not. It's absolutely NOT about the money, it's about the fact that Kim is the ONLY ONE of Luke's collaborators who has actively and enthusiastically propped him up and called Kesha a liar. THAT'S the difference between her and others like Doja (Nicki doesn't count, she's even worse than Kim) and i wish more Kim stans would acknowledge it instead of always screaming "transphobia!".
