Kintsugi Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 the reason why this keeps getting pushed back is because of the writer's strike, the lead single was scheduled for last month and got cancelled just a few days before the announcement was scheduled current date is tbd

I doubt with a different manager she would scab and ignore SAG rules.

Dabbyy Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 Strike is a problem cuz she has a movie distributed by Amazon Prime not just an album.

She could still release a single, the movie nor the album tied to it need to be released. Like the user said above, nobodies been here for her music since On The Floor, the album probably will do just the same as AKA. She should just get the era rolling.
Infatuation_Junkie Posted October 21, 2023 Posted October 21, 2023 (edited) Should be called this is me…soon. We all know what soon means in the pop world. At this point it’s gonna be stale on arrival. Edited October 21, 2023 by Infatuation_Junkie

Again, everything is likely locked into the deal with Amazon Studios, thus it being kept under the SAG-AFTRA strike. 1
