She is most likely gonna release a single now or in July and then drop the album in September. At least that's what makes sense but with her, you never know. lol

So apparently a user from the JLo forum (who is reliable) said that the initial plan was to release a first single in NYE and then the album release in Valentine's Day period. However, Rihanna and Super Bowl was gonna make the project a shadow and they pushed it back. She had filmed some visuals in December, but then got back and filmed more stuff until April. This is still coming late Summer, but the writer's strike has affected the release date and maybe it will still affect its final release, but we have to wait and see

She went back to film more visuals  😩 why not film all the visuals at once if this was meant to be a visual album anyways? What does the writer's strike have to do with a music release! Dx the excuses. With the writer's strike happening she can use this time to just focus solely on releasing the music. I hate it here. Give us the release date. Release the visuals. Do a **** ton of interviews. Book some award performances. Give us tour dates and that's it.

The writer's strike has like all the late night shows off-air, so she wouldn't' t be able to do promo runs on them maybe?

I think she filmed one-two videos from what I understand, and then decided to make the project an "experience". Also, another strategy was to release songs and videos until the release date as part of building up this whole experience thing. Since it was pushed back, they decided to film visuals in that free time.

So it’s finally submitted to the label!! Now it can go into production (vinyls, CDs, etc). Pressing vinyls takes approx. 2 months in todays climate, so maybe we can finally expect the album in September?

Surely submitting the album to the label should mean that the lead single is clear for release now, no?

 

I'm hoping the single comes out in late July, and the album in early October.
