BlackJesus Posted January 25, 2023 Posted January 25, 2023 That is so ******* stupid. Why announce the album 10 months in advance. ******* *****

voiceofTreason Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 The level of AUDACITY if this is pushed to the fall
popstyle Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 I think the twitter leak made her announce it too early
MusicIsMyMaster Posted January 26, 2023 Posted January 26, 2023 Apparently that article is false and is not true.

"Dance Again" was for a greatest hits collection, not a new album; "Ain't Your Mama" shouldn't have happened; and I truly don't believe Por Primera Vez existed, especially per an interview where I recall her stating there technically was never an album. she literally made a tweet saying she was trying to decide whether to give us a new album or something else. she ended up being lazy and giving us a greatest hits album when she had another hit on her hands with DANCE AGAIN. huge missed opportunity to not ride the wave of commercial resurgence. like all homegirl had to do was slap on some LOVE B sides and record demos as per usual and call it a day lol POR PRIMERA VEZ was definitely set and done for release. It literally only got postponed because the singles were underperforming. Then they went with a whole new direction once el anillo and dinero dropped. el anillo did moderately and then nothing. then her droplet era essentially got extended for 5 years until we got the marry me soundtrack. ain't your mama is literally one of her most songs that actually took off with little to no promo. it was basically the lane that camila carved out and took for herself once she scored a hit with havana. On 1/3/2023 at 2:56 AM, CosTaSsSs said: Ain't Your Mama should have been the first single out of a very pop album in 2016. She was working on something but we didn't know what was that. Por Primera Vez had 13 tracks which she told on her own, so pretty much we knew that it was going to happen. They were waiting for a Spanish song of hers to smash before dropping it though. so for PPV the tracks that were gonna make the cut that we more or less knew of for sure were as followed: 1. Olvidame Y Pega Me La Vuelta featuring Marc Anthony 2. Ni Tu Ni Yo featuring Gente De Zona 3. Amor Amor Amor featuring Wisin 4. Recordandote featuring Maluma 5. A Tu Lado featuring Nicky Jam 6. Que Se Jodan 7. Un Poquito De Tu Amor 8. Vivir Sin Ti 9. Dime Que Esperas 10. Por Primera Vez 11. El 12. Mirate 13. Cadillac We also knew of Siempre Los Dos with JBalvin, Dinero with Cardi B, El Anillo and Te Gusta featuring Bad Bunny. Other rumored titles/songs were Aguacero, Amnesia De Ti, Emociones, Ganas De Odiarte, Mia, Me Sabe A Amor, Me Pertenezco, No Me Importa, No Me Diga Adios, Para Amarnos Mas, Si Te Quiero, Te Encuentro and Yo Sigo Aqui that 2016 pop album seemed like it was gonna feature the following 1. ain't your mama 2. lookin good 3. i'll go 4. breaking me down 5. self control (bebe ended up keeping it and released it herself) On 1/3/2023 at 11:54 AM, getback said: El Anillo was a hit and they still cancelled the album hate them for this. but weren't we also getting teased about another album where she had a song with ozuna that sampled hollaback girl and a collab with saweetie? what happened with that? On 1/3/2023 at 12:56 PM, CosTaSsSs said: It wasn't as huge as people make it seem. Song was viral in Latin market, but chart-wise it didn't do anything except Spain. Also until El Anillo was released, Por Primera Vez was old news. lies. based on the theme alone it basically went viral. i live in an urban based hispanic community and everyone was always either talking, singing or playing it around here. por primera vez was being reworked so we thought that their was still hope now it's poor primera vez because we got screwed over On 1/16/2023 at 6:38 PM, Lukeb said: I’m in no rush for this, we’ll have the movie in a few weeks time. Once that dies down she can focus on the album and do one project at a time well. The movie looks great so it will be buzz around her name again. yeah i think once shotgun wedding is out of the way we're gonna get the ball rolling on this but they should've at least released a single with the announcement and done a pre order because to waste the hype like that was such a fumble On 1/16/2023 at 6:57 PM, SweetTalker said: I wonder if she’s actually trying to sign a 1 album record deal to distribute this album, or…..? Literally no one outside of her fans remembers this announcement she should just be independent and release albums on her own accord because is she signs to a label we're screwed
loveofpopculture Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 (edited) I feel like the album will be out at the latest by the summer. Edited January 31, 2023 by loveofpopculture
James_Dean Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Her management is an absolute JOKE. I'm so pissed at this whole situation

TakeYouToHell Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 Wish we've got a cover in a good quality that's not a screenshot of announcement video. I want to put 2016-2021 droplets as second disc in my library
MusicIsMyMaster Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I still dont understand what the point of showing us a full tracklist was...

MusicIsMyMaster Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 I really think they just used the anniversary date to make an announcement. Nothing was finalized IMO

Maybe she did this by herself to force the label to release the record and they just said no?
rihannasbe$tfrnd Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 She should announce it rn while the girls from tiktok aren’t tearing her wig into pieces and the GP is enjoying the new movie at least some might stream

Part of me feels like she doesn’t have a label or distribution deal and that’s the reason for everything taking so long
