eXaggeration Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Had to give this album some time today (for obvious reasons). Still glad it got released cause I was skeptical after the long wait... but I really have enjoyed it and the film since their debut. For actual J.Lo fans I'd say it was worth the wait. At least now I know we'll definitely be getting more music 'cause there's no way she's gonna let this be her last album... 5
ChooseyLover Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Not me about to listen to the album for the first time after she filed for divorce... I've heard it's good so I'm properly excited. 5

I've heard it's good so I'm properly excited. It's truly a great album. People weren't just giving it the time of day because she was getting dragged all over social media when it was released. 15 minutes ago, Fancyhoodlum said: Its a good album YES! 5 hours ago, eXaggeration said: Had to give this album some time today (for obvious reasons). At least now I know we'll definitely be getting more music 'cause there's no way she's gonna let this be her last album... Yes, as a fan I'm really happy with this album. It's This Is Me… Then's sister album and you can hear that in the quality of the production. I only dislike the opening track. As for this being her last album? I hope not, but she's talked about it being a nice closure to her music career… She's not the type of artist to be inspired during heartbreak, but I kind of want her to be very sassy and a diva and create an album that drags the **** out of Ben. He seduced her a second time when she was at the height of her career (year of Hustlers/Super Bowl), gave her a ring that said "not. going. anywhere.", yet dropped the ball on her the moment going got tough. 1
mickeyderon Posted August 21 Posted August 21 She always manages to rise up despite any heartbreak or trolling, I reckon she will do the same again. As for new music, I can't see her having this as her last album especially now. I don't think it will be anytime soon but I do think it will happen one day. We're more likely to get some one off singles first to coincide with a new tour when she's ready for that.
Quiqui4eva Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Dear Ben Part II (and the rest of the album) is still a bop idc
rockwitu08 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 This woman made one hell of an album, her best honestly, and self funded a passion project because she just wanted to which I think is still so badass ☕️ 6
reymiu Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) Ben doesn't deserve the 2 Dear Ben songs! Dear Ben Pt.2 is a bop and my most favourite song from her since On The Floor Edited August 22 by reymiu 1
Dark Phoenix Posted August 22 Posted August 22 I also hope she comes back stronger next year with an album full of bops like Love? because this can't be her last album after the current situation.
CosTaSsSs Posted August 22 Posted August 22 She clearly stated that she just wanted to capture the moment of what she's living now in the same way she did with TIMT. I feel bad for her, but at the same time I feel this record really showed how she grew as an artist and how she finally got involved in an album that much. I hope the whole breakup and if her upcoming films do well, to give another chance and come back with a great dance record and give her really last album. Then keep filming movies etc. 2
ChooseyLover Posted August 22 Posted August 22 (edited) Okay... Cannot stress enough how good the album is. Can't believe I slept on it, probably biased by the hate train going on towards her. I didn't think she'd have it in her to release a skipless album but here we are. Also I still think this should've been the album cover Edited August 22 by ChooseyLover 1
JustHoran Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Yeah I don't think an album about Ben Affleck is going to be her last album now, so I think we will get atleast one more album I hope she goes out with a bang in music. She has the classics and hits, and she can just focus on acting but I'd love one final album and maybe a tour or residency again in the future.
Maroonx Posted August 22 Posted August 22 so both This is me...Then/Now cursed her relationship with Ben... I think after this she will never release any album about loving someone
CosTaSsSs Posted August 26 Posted August 26 Go Jen! Give us an album full of dance the night away bops.

II is my favourite track (which is kinda unfortunate now, I guess?). I'm still pleasantly surprised. You can tell this was a passion project, she did her own thing and there's ZERO trendchasing in it. Honorable mention to Hummingbird, Hearts and Flowers and This Time Around. This is her Caution (complimentary). Edited August 26 by ChooseyLover 1
