alexaalto Posted March 1 Posted March 1 finally had the time with my friend to watch the film and documentary about this and damn we shed a few tears watching the doc it was great and emotional, also the film itself was surprisingly good project. very proud of her and my friend also said she got more interested about her and will revisit jenny’s catalogue better 4
alexaalto Posted March 1 Posted March 1 funny when I went to IMDb to watch ratings for those, the way the haters have been spamming those one star reviews without those it would actually have quite decent audience rating Had to leave a 10 both to them 1

Meanwhile, critics are loving it an both the film and documentary are FRESH on Rotten Tomatoes 🍅 4

It’s so annoying because I love Mariah too and don’t understand why giving JLo credit in anyway impacts Mariah at this point lol This album made me revisit some of her 2010s output like I Luh Yah Papi, Ain’t Your Mama, I’m Into You and Live It Up (cringe parts aside). This whole era has made me revisit her music again and appreciate her on a whole new level. 8
Mke1979 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 If ONLY there were some really upbeat, pop dance bops on this album to go along with this massive promo! 1
James_Dean Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Hopefully the positive reception from fans inspires her to do another album in a few years 3

I don't really get it either, but my theory is that some of them live so deeply vicariously through her that they feel some compulsion to get "justice" for her because they're deeply traumatized and wronged irl that they need to find their own "justice" somehow and what better way to do it on the Internet bashing celebritie. And the other contributor here is that they just enjoy diminishing someone to make themselves feel better. Stan culture is just so sad. As for getting into her 2010s output, I actually am too. I strayed away from her after the mess that was I Luh Ya Papi, but she has some cute songs post-Love? album: - Ain't Your Mama - Live It Up (solo version with the a new verse to replace Pitbull) - Us - Amor Amor Amor - Adrenalina (with Ricky Martin) - Feel the Light - Try Me (should have been a single released by Jason Derulo) - Booty - Chegaste - Love Make the World Go Round - In the Morning - Dance Again - Let It Be Me - Cambio El Paso Potential: - Tens (needs to be edited though; a lot of unnecessary parts) - Same Girl (original mix without French Montana, but needs to have the louder vocals like the ones used in the Halftime Remix; I think she re-recorded them) 4
Mke1979 Posted March 2 Posted March 2 What deluxe tracks or unreleased ones are worth listening to? I love these songs by JLO mostly ! waiting for tonight on the floor dance again live it up Papi invading my mind first love us ain’t your mama I’m into you alive (thunderpuss remix) ain’t it funny (original and almighty mix) 1

Like that? Like that? I like it, like that, My neck & my back awww. 1
CosTaSsSs Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Got my copies as well! The Amazon exclusive is beautiful as a cover! But I really love the deluxe edition. 1

Maroonx Posted March 2 Posted March 2 She should re-issue Dance Again The Hits, but call it "Singles Collection" and add all the non-album songs. I hate how her GH doesn't even feature all of her singles. So annoying 2

TheGreatestX Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Hehehe, very satisfied. I think I want to get the Barnes & Noble version as well. 5
