Sabandija Posted February 22 Posted February 22 It's so sad people are not giving this album a chance. 6

Sabandija Posted February 22 Posted February 22 It must be discouraging making such a great body of work and not getting the recognition she deserves. I hope Rebound gets some streaming love. 5

She's an actress/popstar in her mid-50s way past her commercial peak. This is a passion project for her, gave it her all and it's being well received by fans and the gp. I'm also very glad she's giving love to the OG TIMT album and we will get performances for its masterpieces. Of course the chronically online hate train is massive as it is any other day of the week for JLo. Like she would get trashed no matter the album/visual/live performances. 5

Ok it’s not done well chart-wise, but the fact serious publications like Pitchfork even acknowledged the existence of the album (let alone gave it a positive review) is a win for her as an artist that has never really been taken seriously despite her commercial success in the past. alexaalto Posted February 22 Posted February 22 weird but kinda cool they put the live show as individual videos and not just one hour long video. Heart & Flowers hits better as live https://music.apple.com/fi/playlist/jennifer-lopez-apple-music-live/pl.a42169b0100f4be48989fa987355d7f6 this era has been giving so much 2
toxicgenie Posted February 22 Posted February 22 This era is what we wish all our pop girls gave us. So looking forward to watching the show tonight. 3
Joyride Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Midnight Trip to Vegas / If You Had My Love medley her saying that it's her favorite song on the album 2

I must admit that I was hopping this project would turn people's opinion around. Nobody else is what she's doing. It's so frustrating. If any Ariana Grande or Taylor Swift had released these album and visuals everybody would be praising them to the heavens. 3 1

Pretty sure it would only count towards the live album. More coins in Jen’s and Apple’s pocket I guess. But doesn’t help with sales for the OG record. 2

But if someone like Taylor Swift, Adele or Beyonce (I love all these artists, so don’t mean this shady) would’ve done exactly the same thing they would’ve gotten praises for financing themselves and doing something committed to their art and authenticity and what not vs. been called “a vanity project”. They always measure her with double standards! Edited February 22 by insomniac 6
Sabandija Posted February 22 Posted February 22 I hope the tour does well and she decides to make another album. 4
