At the time I don't think they were even released as singles for purchase, airplay-only. The physical single sales market was dead in America and there was no iTunes.

 

That said, iTunes did appear a few years later and peaked while JLo was still an A list celebrity, and she had a big digital era as well (Love?), so the fact that 15 years of recurrent digital sales and at this point 10 years of recurrent streams couldn't get either song to more than Platinum is a bit pathetic and speaks to how disposable and forgotten her music really is no shade.
