Being born in a corrupt & backwards third world country takes the cake. I can't even describe in how many ways this sets you up for misery and failure, especially as someone who is ghey.

 

Thankfully I realised this early in my teens and did everything I could to get away from there and succeeded. Still the "ghost" of growing up there still haunts me and affects my decisions and the way I go on about my life.
