i was kinda interested in this after NGNDA but now hearing it’s an outlier on the album i’m not really excited anymore :rip:  i’m mad at everyone who dragged her for making 3 of the same albums in a row (IND/FH/TTAL) because i’d much rather have that than albums full of ballads and if the insiders are right it seems like more of that :dancehall:  i was hoping it would be more boppy since her tour is ‘summer carnival’ themed but i guess we’ll see. at least the title track is gonna be a bop but i can’t say i have high hopes for the album…i only played BT and H2BH like twice in full ever

I think it would be strange if someone at her age postponed an album. The lead was fine, and they are clearly aiming for a peak of NGNDA around album release week

lol wth does age have to do w it?

Does anyone else think it’s weird that she has said literally nothing about this since she announced it? Either it’s getting pushed back or she truly doesn’t care at all about this era :rip:

Here is my take: Pink's label spent a good amount of money promoting her upcoming tour around the release of NGNDA (Jimmy Kimmel, Good Morning America, tv commercials, etc). It really feels like Pink has lost a lot of passion that she once had with her own music. Look at her most recent performances - they are filled with covers. Pink seems to pretty much only care about touring, her vineyard and family, and less so about creating new music. The release of Irrelevant and the controversial Pfizer ad indicate to me that she isn't looking for mainstream success anymore; I don't think that she cares about what other people think (now more than ever before). I am confident that her label has a small album release strategy planned over the next few weeks that will require minimal work. For example, we know Pink will be on the Kelly Clarkson show later this month. I have a feeling that she also will announce her Australian leg of the tour around the release of Trustfall and maybe even post some album snippets starting next week. Beyond that, I don't think that we should expect much. Hopefully one of her new songs take off but even then my expectations are low. Pink seems to be content with where she is at in her career. Another possibility to consider is that Trustfall might be extremely personal and difficult for her to talk about. Pink has been private with her most personal songs - Beam Me Up and Heartbreaker come to mind. She doesn't talk about them much and will not perform them live.

Female pop stars are naturally paid less attention when they hit their late 30s, and especially 40s. She also didn’t debut in the streaming era so has that against her too. That’s why age matters

The month of Piano Room performances will be followed by a P!nk Piano Room special on BBC Two, featuring more live songs from her.

Wednesday 15 February – P!nk, covering an artist and track to be revealed on the day

P!nk says: “I am so looking forward to being back in the UK soon and performing for Radio 2’s Piano Room! It’s been six years since I last performed at BBC’s iconic Maida Vale studios, and I can’t wait to do it again!”

Of course she's excited to do some cover. It will get more views than live version of her own song. But yes, finally some promo announcement :gaycat5:

Is this a downgrade from the BBC Live Lounge or are they completely different things?

I legit thought the same thing and I’m in the UK. At a guess, I would say this is BBC Radio 2’s Live Lounge.

Well, if she has promo booked it means there’s no delay. She could start by hyping the era a little bit.

completely different things. They perform at Maida Vale Studios with an orchestra + BBC Radio 2 is the UK’s most listened to radio station, with a weekly audience of 14.46 million.

I think the album delay theory would be more plausible if her team was scrambling to make NGNDA a hit & it wasn't sticking. They pushed it hard on radio and made zero effort on streaming, still stuck in the 2000s. It smashed on radio all over the world and sold the tour pretty well. That's enough for them. The album will be released as scheduled and make no noise and no one will lift a finger :cm:

Yes, her team is stuck in the 2000s, she shouldn't hire a person as a manager who is over age of 70, because I think he doesn't even know what streams are. He only knows what was working in the old days and have no idea what to do nowadays in the streaming era.
