[Intro]

P!nk: Oh, oh

Oh, oh, oh

The Weeknd: Hey yeah huh

[P!nk, Verse 1]

Stepping out of the shade

I wanna bathe in the light

They're giving us a bad name

Being good never felt quite right

[P!nk, Pre-Chorus]

I know there's some place better

Far away from here

We're gold as long as we're together

Hey, yeah, yeah

[P!nk, Chorus]

We were born to run away, oh, oh

Top down, no doubt

We were born to run away, oh, woah

Break out the blue horizon

We'll never settle, pedal to the floor

Got every day to live for

We were born to run away, oh, woah

Oh, yeah, born to run away

[The Weeknd, Verse 2]

We are walking through the shadows

Passing strangers by we don‘t quite know

Bidding them to join us

Alone we won‘t make it out of here

[The Weeknd, Pre-Chorus]

I know there's some place better

Far away from here

We're gold as long as we're together

Hey, yeah, yeah

[P!nk, The Weeknd Chorus]

We were born to run away, oh, woah

Top down, no doubt

We were born to run away, woah, woah

Break out the blue horizon

We'll never settle, pedal to the floor

Got every day to live for

We were born to run away, oh, oh

Oh, yeah, born to run away

You know, not to gossip :coffee2: But I hadn't really paid much attention to the Carey situation, and then I rewatched this interview:

And around @13:45 when she's asked about her relationship with him she got very emotional. I hope they are in a good place

Overall most of the interviews this era hint at some trouble between her and Carey. She barely acknowledges him and when she does it's always in a very bittersweet, very pragmatic way, not the dorky "he annoys me but I'm crazy about him" way we're used to :dancehall2:

"Sometimes having kids is the only glue we have left" :emofish:

I think they are doing fine. Just like all the long term relationships, there has to be ups and downs.

They just had a boat trip not long before, and she literally thanked him in her iHeart speech. Let's not worry too much:gaycat3:

Super interesting how Kids In Love is the best performing track on the album if you take out the singles/promo singles. :gaygacat4:

Hate Me has over 100k shazams, begging to be single #3.

Just Say I'm Sorry is higher isn't it?

But I like the song and A Strut already gave her a huge hit in Europe with CMIS. :gaycat3:

Kids in Love is currently the 2nd most streamed track on First Aid Kit's Spotify page. Maybe that's why it's so high?

Isn't the reason too obvious?

No clue but it's been charting since the release of the album and peaked at #14.

The only reason for that is because it is one of the 3 tracks from the album that are listed on This Is P!nk (and it is placed higher as well).

As usual, her team being the worse. Aside from the singles, only Kids In Love, Just Say I'm Sorry, and Our Song are on that playlist...
