If they really didn't matter, you wouldn't be making cringe threads like this. Putting Avril in that list of legends is disrespectful, especially when some of those artists like Diana Ross have GRAMMY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS. Then after his death, despite having arguably the most acclaimed album of the eligibility period, the Grammy committee blocked him from the general field. Also Jimi Hendrix, Björk, Kate Bush and some others already mentioned in this thread. Chuck Berry never won a competitive Grammy and is another major omission.
