This sounds like pure fan fiction from someone who is homophobic and probably lives in a republican state and wants to frame a queer person

I mean all of this coz of a school play? The teacher calling the mother braindead on their first interaction? The principal hearing that "supposed voicemail" and doing nothing despite the real possibility of him losing his job if it was true?

This part got me. :toofunny2: So random.

It’s so sad because having a close relationship with a teacher can actually be very beneficial. My highschool art teacher completely changed the direction of my life for the better. Teachers should be nurturing students and helping them develop their skills and talents. Not sure how these people keep slipping through the cracks, I guess it’s because it’s such a low paid profession that the job market isn’t competitive

This kinda sounds fake, I do not think you would be a teacher for very long if you uhh call the parent of the child a crack ***** or whatever :deadbanana2:

If this is true (Reddit is mostly Wattpad, BFFR) then I will say the mom is kinda sharp - good for her. A minor being taken to a restaurant randomly by a teacher is maybe in itself not eyebrow-raising (although you CANNOT fault a parent for wishing they were informed before, come on - even if it's just lunch), but the stated degree of control over "private" time between the two and the intersection with that one play (position of power) could definitely lead to something.

Or maybe it's just a ****, poorly written story :skull:

If the minor exists, I will pray for him.

If he does not I hope the karma farming off Reddit brings this person peace.

That whole thing sounds made up, i been enough time on reddit to know

So it's wrong for teachers to eat with their students? :rip:

My school doesn't even allow instructors to see students in their office with the door closed let alone take them to their house and this is a university where the students are adults.

Im too lazy to google can someone just tell what does grooming mean in American context? Does it mean gay male adult training a minor gay so that he can date him as soon as he hits 18 :rip: I have read about current wife of Aaron Taylor Johnson grooming him since childhood and married him as soon as he was of legal age

It can also be gradually normalizing/desensitizing kids to inappropriate situations so that they can go further and further with them. So the inappropriate behaviour/relationship can certainly begin before the child turns adult in grooming situations.

Although it does seem hard to believe the principal defended the teacher, maybe the teacher and principal have a close and trusting relationship and the teacher made up some lies about how the kid/his mom is trying to blackmail him with lies to get lead roles in the play.

As someone who has watched a somewhat similar situation on fold there is a lot of missing information and steps that haven’t been taken that make this hard to truly believe.

How come she hasn’t reached out to other parents with kids that are in the play? Why hasn’t she gone to the school board about the teachers and principal’s actions, what about reaching out to local news media?

why turn to a bunch of strangers on the internet is she clearly lacks a lot of common sense or isn’t telling us the full truth or even telling the truth at all.

It seems like she did go to the school board and police (apparently) after redditors recommended her to. As for not reaching out to parents, idk. It seems like she's a single mom with 3 kids. Maybe she didn't have time to get to know the parents of her sons schoolmates. But I am surprised that the principal is defending the teacher like that, it's not impossible for that to be true, but it is the most surprising/hard to believe part of this story.

“Frame”. Spare me, y’all care more about what the media/GP might think about the gays than the gays actually caring about the gays, specially minors.
As if grooming, molestation and sexual assaults aren’t extremely prevalent in the community. I  bet atleast 70% on this site alone has been through that before even turning 18. But you’re more concerned about suppressing that FACT over remedying it out of fear of how people outside the community might perceive that.
It’s only a matter of time until we get our own “me too” movement.

It is not more prevenlant than  straight people! I knew plenty of girls in Hs talking to older men too so spare me.

the attack isn’t cause it isn’t happening the attack is cause the right is trying to erase lgbt topics in schools under the guise of grooming. Just look how after a pile of kids got shot and killed in Texas but instead they side tracked and voted to ban kids from drag shows. Like you can’t be this dense!! They are using children as bait to stop queer laws. Just as the don’t say gay bill in Florida.

So a mother telling her story and worries for her kid, and what atrl gets out from this is accusing her of lying because the bad guy in the story is gay?!?!? Yall serious? You gonna pretend every single gay person in this world is perfect and don't do ****?

No but we aren’t going to pretend like Reddit is a source of truth. There is a lot of digital propaganda going on right now so yes we will take it with a grain of salt. The fact that she is saying the man invited him to dinner and is GROOMING the son. Grooming has been attached heavily to lgbt people and children the past few months from the right wing so yes it does raise a flag.

They do the same thing with racial issues. Digital black face is a real thing. Look it up. They did it heavily to attack blm.
