EXCLUSIVE: Big news from the Dutton ranch: the season five premiere of Yellowstone averaged nearly 16 million viewers, making it the most watched show across all of TV in 2022, according to L3 results from Nielsen.

It was also the most watched cable premiere since 2017’s The Walking Dead. The combination of the premiere and encore performances of the episode on Paramount averaged 15.7 million, up 6% vs. the season 4 premiere (14.7 mil).

Hopefully it's better than the trainwreck that was season 4. So nonsensical and cringe.

I mean based on the first 3 seasons I was ok with the soap opera writing but season 4 reached a new level of messy.

 

At this point I'm only watching to thirst over cowboys and that over-the-top rich blonde sister.

I agree season 1-3 we’re phenomenal, season 4 was a disappointment but hoping season 5 can pick it up again

No gays, the opposite, but there are hot men on it and a sassy queen as main character, however this is one of best shows of the last years, it is very good (8,7 on IMDB), and I'm saying this as somebody who initially thought to not get into this kind of show.

i cant believe how dirty the writers did monica do they just hate her? that whole situation in 5x01 was the stupidest **** i've seen in a tv show in a long time especially a tv show that takes itself seriously. i was kinda in the notion that this show deserved more attention from critics but after this scene with monica they showed what type of show they are and they don't deserve any extra love from critics. the show is still very entertaining tho and i kinda live for the mess but the way they write her makes me wonder.

This season took clear shots at liberal idea, but i laughed cause the creator said its not a red targeted audience

I read that Some of the cast are even homophobic

Just finished season 5 premier, and its clear they are going to re-hash some of the previous story lines. I need John Dutton to become addicted to the games of politics and ruthless, he needs growth

Mess I just saw the tailer for the Spin off "1923" like wtf at the casting 

 

How did they go from D-list actors for 1883 to A-list actors for 1923? 

Also Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren deserve so much better because "1883" was such a trainwreck ... I hope they stepped up the writing.
