discotitzz Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 They have a collective humiliation kink at this point
Pop Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Republicans realising 2016 was a (Russian funded) fluke and that their days are numbered is so very tea. Refreshing mint tea.
Blue Monday Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 After all of this, the fact that Dems could potentially keep control of the senate, house and presidency again...
Bosque Posted November 12, 2022 Posted November 12, 2022 Funny video but honestly Republican voters will never ever care about their politicians and pundits being hypocrites. I mean they backed Herschel walker after the whole abortion mess as long as there’s an R behind your name that’s all that matters.
FightForTanas Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 The knives are being sharpened for Biden.
Ibrahim Posted November 13, 2022 Posted November 13, 2022 Let's not forget Joe Rogan deleting his Red Wave prophecy. The propensity for these tools to parrot these right-wing mantras exudes the same energy I see on apps like Nextdoor that say "Caruso is a Democrat" or "Democrats aren't doing enough of what I want so they're gonna lose and it don't care". You see it on the right and the far left. I hope that those on the left who doubted the strategy of using MAGA Republicans as a wedge issue and Democrats being able to get historic legislation in with very little power but not getting everything they wanted still realize that the two parties aren't the same. If we want to move the Democrats left, let's try to also wipe Republicans off the map from getting any power because they're your only alternative with this system.
XAMJ Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 they lie lie lie until their base accepts it as the truth and then there is no going back from that
Ewan Chaos Posted November 14, 2022 Posted November 14, 2022 They can't read suddenly, they don't know
Katy V.! Posted November 15, 2022 Posted November 15, 2022 People don't seem to realize that the red wave had already happened. Republicans had won by "ending"/ "banning" abortion. The fact that Dems are celebrating that they weren't humiliated on the polls right after the GOP attacks on human rights

So you're saying that despite the Democrat's thin majorities, their ability to pass needed legislation like student forgiveness and the Inflation Reduction Act envirogorated the youth vote and their strategy to paint MAGA GOP as crazy turned out the independent voter? And that the Democrats overall are better (not perfect) at governing? Let's not pretend like the youth vote is the only thing that helped. In fact, it's about damn time they did! But it was a collective effort that not only prevented the Dems from losing Congress completely, they bucked a decades old trend of losing massively, flipped red districts, and may even gain a Senate seat with Georgia. Both can be true. Edited November 16, 2022 by Ibrahim

RunUpDoneUp Posted November 16, 2022 Posted November 16, 2022 Always embarrassing when real life comes into the conversation. Sucks to suck.

Now which group of people originally had the idea for the president to do this? I wasn't referring to Student Debt relief as legislation. Though poorly worded, it was in reference to the IRA. Biden already had student loan debt forgiveness included in his 2020 run after commenting he was impressed by Warren's proposal and had integrated it into his campaign promise. Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat and an economic exp, has been towing the student debt relief and campaigned on it.
