A 2x Platinum album with only a top 10 hit and a #53 peaking second single sounds impressive af if you ask me. 

 

Compared to her contemporaries, TMYLM was not milked at all. Selena's peak is only 2x platinum and it got 3 top 10 hits and a top 40 fourth single. Miley's Younger Now had a similar rollout (a top 10 single followed up by an underperformance  - though Demi's second single did far better than Miley's) and it's not even gold. In fact, Miley's biggest era is only 3x platinum despite having two #1 smashes. 

 

So yeah, I don't know about you but it sounds impressive to me.
