There was some confusion about Songwriter of the Year. It's a category for songwriters who write for other artists, not themselves. I take responsibility for the confusion, as I wasn't clear on that myself initially. So a lot of the submissions were for ineligible artists like Taylor Swift or Charli XCX. This longlist is the top submissions that were actually eligible.
