Arthoe Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 But I thought conservatives were all about "keeping jobs in America"?
mylicious Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Strange how this forum is celebrating this trash of a human being.
McNulty Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 they have to be in a lot of debt to be this savage
TaggedGalaxy Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 At this point I’m convinced his goal is to kill Twitter completely
katara Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 America is really a sh*thole if some psycho can just come and make you jobless within one day. Like where are the worker rights? Will these poeple get some notice period or severance at least?

Twitter is $20 billion in debt, so getting rid of unnecessary jobs is the first step in turning the company around. I'm 100% sure he will hire better and more efficient staff in the time to come to replace most of those jobs. You realize Tesla is also 30 billion in debt. Every company in America operates in debt currently.

This is false. Per their quarterly earnings report last month: Total debt: $3.5 billion Cash on hand: $19.5 billion Total worth of assets: $74 billion https://www.benzinga.com/news/22/10/29452766/a-look-into-teslas-debt He's done amazing over the years in paying down the mountain of debt they had. Not bad for a company that almost went bankrupt Expect Twitter to go through a similar path thanks to his effective leadership.

I was wrong because i havent looked at their statements in a while. However, i think its incorrect to say twitter is 20 billion in debt when the company had 5.5 billion debt on the books, and the other 13.5 billion is from banks lending Musk the money to acquire the company. Even then, the banks will be passing that on to investors in 2023.
