i do agree with you! (expect for the statement that Paris is less relevant.) 

 

Lindsay still gets hype and it’s impressive considering she’s intentionally been out of the limelight for some time now. though i don’t personally find her as amusing these days, i’ll still be tuning into her upcoming movie! (ha impact and undeniable grip she subconsciously has on me.) and i’m hoping her career flourishes once more, now that she’s ready to take on the industry again!

i’m really unamused by her for some reason and i also feel like she’s not on the same tier as some of her millennial peers like Hilary Duff or Paris Hilton. of course she was the lead in iconic films like The Parent Trap or Mean Girls, and she does great at reminding us of that.   the incident in the Middle East as well as her behavior in her Beach Club reality show were also a big turn off for me. 

 

nevertheless, i’m happy for her because i think it’s great she’s setting new goals for herself and wants to do bigger and better than ever before.

Hilary's been getting more respect, as the HIMYF campaign has shown. However, I feel like she's still in a box. She has accepted it.

Do we have proof she calls the paps though? She's been very vocal on how annoyed she is with them, especially when they photograph her children.

True. Tbh I don’t even like the idea of putting them against each other. You can tell Hil has worked hard to get out of the box they’ve tried to put her in and she seems like she’s doing well proving herself. 
 

same. It’s going to take time though but unlike the previous times I feel like she’s willing to wait to prove herself.

she approached a homeless mother and her children (whom she didn’t know), while filming them on instagram live. she then shamed the mother for not working hard to provide a better life for her children and offered to take the children to a hotel for food, shelter and movies (leaving the mother behind).

 

and lastly, tried to lure the children away from their mother to “safety” (some would call this kidnapping), which resulted in the mother retaliating and pushing her to the ground. 

 

mind you, there was a language barrier, so the mother must’ve been very confused. plus, we have no idea what circumstances lead them to be on the street. i personally don’t think it was right for Lindsay to assume the mother was lazy and negligent.

what i can say is that it was clear she lives in a completely different reality and i personally consider her a horrendous boss and a tyrant.

 

she expected her employees to be in work mode 24/7, would show up unannounced and reprimand those who weren’t “ready for anything at any time”. like sis, it’s 3am.  

 

she regularly belittled her employees by reminding them of their disposability, and treated them as so. imagine your boss treating you like you were disposable?   0 regard for their livelihood. 0 regard for the fact these are people who sacrificed a lot to be there. 

 

i’m willing to give her the benefit of a doubt and say this was a reality television show. perhaps i’m reading too much into it when it really wasn’t the deep and just for the content.  regardless, her behavior was a turn off for me and one of the girls in the show did speak out about her…

I'm not gonna get into this but you mentioned the "mother" so many times that I feel the need to point out we literally still have no clue who those people were/if they were in fact related to begin with
