Girl shut up. Except no one was talking about her being a legend or not. The post I quoted was specifically about Madonna's music supposedly still being used. It's factually not. Sorry

Madonna's music is still played daily on the radio in adult contemporary stations all around the US. Everyone knows her songs, well at least the classics. Will they be playing taylor's music in 30 years? We shall see. This straw man. Taylor will have MANY classics 30 years from now. Her discography is full to the brim with future AC/Top40 recurrents.
gettsleazy Posted November 5, 2022 Posted November 5, 2022 So many straw man arguments in this thread and for what Taylor is like, 15 years into her career. It’s not really fair to say she wasn’t around “for the AIDS crisis or the political theatre of the gay rights movement.” We don’t know what she’ll do with her legacy (which is only just now solidifying with the success of Midnights) but I’m certain she will dabble in some worthy causes in the years to come. Give it time. Madonna and her are also wildly different types of “stars.” For what everyone in here is arguing about Madonna doing for the culture, Taylor is doing for the music industry. Comme ci Comme ca imo… At least they both have failed acting careers in common!

As I said, there's a ton of artists from the 70s, 80s and 90s that are charting everyday on the Spotify top 200 artists chart, including but not limited to Elton John, Queen, Abba, Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, Kate Bush, Elvis Presley, Guns N Roses, AC/DC, Nirvana and Mariah Carey. Madonna does not get good recurrent streams for someone who has a career as big as her, and that is just a fact when anyone objective look at the numbers.
