And who is playing a slow ballad in a party day? Let's be serious... The position drops are big? Probably... But there are 30 songs in a 500K range... Let's not be overdramatic... Some of you guys are so dramatic and boring

So it shouldn't come as a shock that a Saturday update isn't great for it... Looking at the kind of song it is... IYKWIM

I shouldn't have used the word "tragic", i'm being unfairly negative. Either way, I can't wait for the film to come out so it can give LMU a nice boost.

It has such massive promo from a radio deal, to like every major publication writing about it, and massive play listing…. To see it tanking like this is not surprising considering the type of song it is, but it’s also worrisome because what will it mean for R9.
Relampago. Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 It’s sad to see her end her own career like this I don’t think anyone on her team considered that she isn’t infallible.
wildthaughts Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 100 pages before the movie’s official release???

What the f*ck are you people even saying? Save the dramatics for the R9 lead single/album thread. The song will debut at #2 on the Hot 100. Fantastic for a OST tribute song, irrespective of how it was marketed by Disney etc. Where it drops next week is where it drops. I guarantee that this isn’t the first time she’s had a single fall on the charts and it won’t be the last. Edited November 6, 2022 by GoodGuyGoneGhetto

Cain Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 I haven’t entered this thread cause I don’t care for this song but are people INSANE? This is Rihanna, she has about 325 flops to her name, and for every flop she has 2 smashes That’s how her career has always been, a soundtrack song won’t change anything about that
GoodGuyGoneGhetto Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 Just now, Cain said: Exactly. Where were these people in 2011 in the “California King Bed/Man Down” threads? Where were they in 2016 in the “ANTI - First Week” or “Kiss It Better” threads? It’s the same three melodramatic Monsters and Swifties who desperately want to imagine that this is a career ender. Just f*cking insane and psychotic. Rihanna having not dropped a single since 2017 and then wanting to get their revenge is SO telling.

For every flop, there’s a smash hit. Ask Madonna.
