❤️❤️ the song is so beautiful and inspiring

I keep telling people that its' performance on streaming is not an indication that people dislike the song...it's a slow and emotional ballad it's not going to have nearly as much replay value for a lot of people as an upbeat song. I've yet to hear anyone outside this board say the song is bad.

What a battle for the 1# spot. Taylor team and Rihanna team give everything they can.

Versions and more version, YouTube challenges, low price for the instrumental, count down, radio deal

Rihanna team never had done something like that before. It's interesting.

I'm so proud of the song cause I love it. And also love all the noise for a simple BSO.

Let's see who will be the number one. They both deserve. Both queens

It’s ironic when people say no one likes this song. Some of us literally just love Rihanna’s voice, all success aside. I have genuinely played it multiple times a day, and I find it uplifting. And I still think this was a very safe way to reintroduce herself to the GP, before the Superbowl.

Came here to say this. I love the song, but I am surprised people hate it so much.

it definitely helped. we expected smaller increase on 7th day and it’s actually increasing instead that’s a win for me

That's true, though.

Let's see who won the battle. :angelo:

It’s boring and bland for Rihanna standards.

I'm surprised at the difference between the charts in Itunes, Youtube and Shazam and the charts in Spotify and Apple music.

Coz its doing amazing in the first 3, it's weird to see it fall in the other two

i feel like the first 3 are more connected to radio while the later 2 are not. spotify and AM subscribers are mostly non radio listeners

No it's not, but people hear songs and identify them to find the music they like. It's an indicator of people checking for the songs and liking what they hear

They did release the instrumental at 69 cents

I absolutely love the song, and everyone I know irl does. The ATRL bubble doesn't represent anything, I mean this is the same forum that hated We Found Love when it came out.

8 hours before the end of the week. This is nothing against the biggest radio payola of all time

Yes and no. New songs will usually be more searched than older songs, cause people already know them. A high position on Shazam does not mean people are consuming the song. It just means that the competition is already known.
