I can't believe The Navy aren't doing anything. The Barbz would have been mass buying this song already if this was Nicki's. :biblio:

Navy has never been a chart obsessed fanbase buying 20 copies of the same thing over and over, why would we be 17 years into her career? :toofunny2:

I guess they don’t care. They can easily help close the gap with certain strategies. I won’t be specific because opps are lurking. :ninja:

Most of the Navy were too busy dragging it on Twitter yesterday and in this thread. :coffee2:

Welp.

Why would they? Rihanna doesn’t care. If she wanted to come back with a huge hit she would have done so.

I don't think Rih or her team don't care. The fact it debuted with massive radio audience means they do.

They still should support their faves' comeback.

The navy has never cared tbh.

She has enough hits and a huge legacy for us to obsess over a chart position collectively.

I do want her to get the 1 this time tho.

Has any soundtrack debuted at #1 on H100 or at least soundtrack sang by a female artist? If not then this is our chance.

rih has enough records, she could have had way more if she had cared these past years. there's no reason to obsessed over another chart peak lol

I'm interested to see how this is gonna hold. song still sounds amazing.

Didn't Taylor just break this record a week ago?

Halloween is going to hurt this quite a lot.

US Spotify 30/10/21

#1 Industry Baby 1.334M

#2 Easy On Me 1.301M

#3 Stay 1.128M

US Spotify 30/10/22

#2 -1 Industry Baby 1.157M (-177k)

#4 -2 Easy On Me 1.066M (-235k)

#6 -3 Stay 971k (-157k)

the effect on a new song (and a lullaby basically) will be even bigger compared to party songs like Stay and Industry Baby.

France is without a doubt her biggest market .

They support everything she drops

If you combined both versions then yes, Rih sets new record but if you exclude the instrumental, Anti-Hero still holds that record with 853,630 meanwhile LMU did 794,603

Even though Taylor is still out streaming, people are forgetting that Billboard changed their formula for the Hot 100 chart. Radio weighs more than streams now. The song officially impacts radio tomorrow. The Navy can easily make “Lift Me Up” go #1 by doing radio requests and a couple buying parties.

Does the instrumental version count?

This is beautiful! She sounds amazing, the raw vocals :jonny3:I got a lullaby vibe (in a good way) the first time I listened, it's very soothing and calming.

The song is pure trash. I’m so angry that she wasted the hype with this bland soundtrack :chick3:

This is not worth mass buying. It will either stick or it won’t, especially when the film comes out we will know. If it was a lead single that’s another story. Rih’s icon status and celebrity is undisputed so who even cares how this underwhelming song does. It’s already doing better than it should

Thats just not correct :celestial5:

Radio is super high for some songs, yeah. But looks like ~30% or so on average.

I really dont see how Lift Me Up would challenge for #1. Would need to increase on US Spotify tomorrow.

Or have really strong sales
