Timber Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 This is not for me...Hopefully it performs well regardless.
Mitsouko Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 She really came back after six years with funeral music I-
ImsoLOUD Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Something tells me a good portion of ATRL likely doesn’t give a damn about a Wakanda in the first place. Can’t expect anything to resonate with people who don’t even understand the songs significance. She is a nearly 35 year old Mother now. Y’all are not getting Bad Gal Riri the way you once used to. She gave y’all 7 albums of ***** pops get over it.
Saud Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 i think the main thing here it’s not what people expected from her.. even me i think because of the insiders that said she is making a reggae album...? so i kinda expected something upbeat from her anyway i like her voice! and her vocals are insane on this track if this is the lead i think it’ll fit in better with the album good comeback tbh she knew she had to do something different
TalkThatTalk Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 They need to change title on Spotify and removed "from soundtrack..." it's too long
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Idk for some reason it sounded exactly as I expected. It's a very cute song very cinematic
Toxicity. Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 I mean.. It’s okay. Not something I would put on repeat. More importantly, Why would she waste 7 years of hype on this?
enchanted0 Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 (edited) I was so confused because it was so bad then realized that it’s basically a traditional? song for a funeral. I get what they’re aiming for. Edited October 28, 2022 by enchanted0

It’s already confirmed being pushed to radio + Playlisting today this time next week y’all are gonna flip flop once it smashes. lol If there's one person that can make very unorthodox songs be successful, it's Rihanna, we'll see
Deemy Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Its gonna sounds great at the Oscars. its right up their alley.
Shy Boy Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 This is gonna hit so hard during the credits. An anthem

HabbGaga Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 (edited) it may grow on me idk. truth is majority of soundtrack songs from MPGs suck it will do its job in the film and thats it. i don't think she should have wasted her comeback on this song but she can still release an album and it be huge. Miss Show Business Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Idk what y'all are on about. The song is gorgeous and she sounds amazing on it
Breathe On Moi Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 It’s honestly just a gorgeous song- the intent of it being a soundtrack song is exactly what it’s giving, so the assignment was understood. many will bite their tongues. her hold me closer ad libs at the end there with the “hold meee” ‘ ‘s tho

Bey'Knight Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 the vocals are being praised here and im glad to see it but that was one of the jarring aspects of the production for me. She sounds very different, obviously still recognisable but rougher to me or are we just doing the thing where we praise Rih’s voice for being you-kneeq? Anyways, I was always apprehensive about a soundtrack comeback song but didnt wanna harp on and be branded a hating hive member. It would be nice if we get R9 to coincide with HTS though im not as confident as some of you that it exists in any tangible form. She may very well have agreed to participating in this OST because theres no other new music on the horizon. SN: I couldnt find the BPWF album on spotify. I thought that was being released today as well? You’d think Disney would’ve learned from TLK to release anticipated OSTs in advance of the movie. It worked smoothly for the original.
Rigalo Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 Actually this flopping on ATRL means it’s probably gonna smash irl
LittleFreak Posted October 28, 2022 Posted October 28, 2022 It's a beautiful song, but not a smash hit.
