It's really good. She sounds great, the melody is stuck in my head. If they pair her heavenly vocals to a heartbreaking scene in the movie, she's got a hit in her hands.

i think that's exactly what's going to happen, some people who've seen it said that at least part of it plays during one of the most emotional scenes in the movie

The last minute is kinda annoying since it was building towards something. I adore the rest tho.

Little replay value, not the best returning song after 7 years.

I get this is suppose to be a tribute and all but… this lullaby. Rihanna baby…

a reminder of just how one of a kind her voice is...in any other hands this would be tired but I can't help but be overwhelmed with emotion listening to her. beautiful.

Is Tems ghost singing on this

A Credited writer and background vocalist is not "ghost singing" lmfao. Rihanna has had SZA, Ester Dean, The-Dream, James Faunterloy, Skylar Grey & Bebe Rexha sing backgrounds and do vocals for her. It's the same thing J.Lo, Toni Braxton, Christina Milian & Paula Abdul do.

Sounds like a bolero. I dig this !

She ruined her 7 year hype on a terrible movie song LMAO :rip:

She really gives no **** :toofunny2:

I like that she is not as calculated tho. Makes her a bit more authentic.

if she actually released R9 earlier this year, then this would've been a cute addition to her legacy and something to tide fans over till the Super Bowl, but now this is branded as a mega comeback single after 7 years... it's a cute song but i get why people are disappointed cause expectations are sky high. her own fault tbh :dies:

Noooooo this is gonna FLOP :rip:

I like it a lot for what it is. The instrumental took me back to playing music on my mp3 player to go to sleep in late middle school. It's really nostalgic, but not in a bad way.

Overall a sweet tribute, her voice sounds beautiful as always.

She needs to seriously FIRE whoever told her to release this before R9 lead :deadbanana4:

It's not even a Carolina or Be Alive which were easily ignorable and not promoted. She and the media actively pushing this as her COMEBACK. :rip:

I got it the 3rd listen. Her vocals…Whitney

The top line melodies are extremely basic. It’s for the masses

Omg like I’m so serious… this is gonna make no noise omg… I love her more than anything in this world but I am stupefied :ahh:

Her vocals are STUNNING

I'm a bit less convince by the song itself though. I might need a few more plays. But I also can't wait to see what else she got in store because that voice wow.
