NOW Posted October 22, 2022 Author Posted October 22, 2022 Quote Like a lot of people who feel misunderstood, she is a chronic over-explainer, and Blue Banisters sprawls and elaborates past the point where we can place our own projections onto it. We know too much. But at its best, this music offers an even more rewarding thrill: It manages to entertain, enrapture, and even surprise because of how well we know Lana Del Rey—and how much there is still to learn. https://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/lana-del-rey-blue-banisters/ Quote The album is a refined, grounded work of modern Americana, a banner record for life at home, and a worthy successor to Lana Del Rey’s dazzling 2019 album Norman ******* Rockwell! — a genre-smashing roadmap she can explore as long as she likes, scribbling notes in her favorite shade. https://www.spin.com/2021/10/lana-del-rey-blue-banisters-album-review/ Quote “Blue Banisters” might lack the majesty of “Norman ******* Rockwell” or the commercial sheen of “Born To Die,” but it offers a rare glimpse of an artist securing her legacy, one song at a time. https://variety.com/2021/music/album-reviews/lana-del-rey-blue-banisters-album-review-1235095796/ Quote While Chemtrails was cause for concern that Del Rey had perhaps lost her magic touch, Banisters is a reminder that when the singer-songwriter is in charge of her vision and fully taps into her emotions, she’s still capable of crafting breathtaking beauty. https://www.avclub.com/blue-banisters-is-the-better-lana-del-rey-record-of-202-1847916683
Gorjesspazze9 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Black Bathing Suit and Arcadia are the only ones I still play consistently. And Living legend sometimes
HausOfGerard Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Top three LDR albums for me. Beautiful record. Blue Banisters, Arcadia, If You Lie Down With Me, Violets for Roses, Dealer, Nectar of the Gods, Living Legend, Sweet Carolina

stjosephprey4us Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Amazing, iconic, breathtaking, etc. One of her best, and my fav of the moment from her 6 minutes ago, Insanity said: Isn't that all her albums tho? Reported. Stay out of her threads if you don’t like the music
Masochism Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 bit of a mixed bag tbh Blue Banisters, Black Bathing Suit & Dealer are career highlights; Nectar of the Gods, Cherry Blossom, Living Legend & Thunder are great tracks but feel weird tacked on being from like an 8 year gap at the time; If You Lie Down is also really pretty I couldn't tell you what Text Book, Wildflower, Beautiful, Violets for Roses or Sweet Carolina sound like tho But i think BB, BBS & Dealer alone make this album at least an 8/10
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Arcadia and Living Legend are still top 10 on her discography
James_Dean Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Beautiful album with some amazing highlights like BB, Dealer, Thunder If you get it, you get it. And if you don't, then
Bartender Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 gorgeous record that gave us many career highlights very grateful she released it
Fancyhoodlum Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Love the melodies. Beautiful album. Really love it
Frozen99 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 i still play it weekly thunder, living legend and sweet carolina are my trinity, black bathing suit, if you lie down, text book, blue banisters, and dealer are all amazing, same with arcadia and the trio .. there are no skips, it's an excellent album which continues proving time and time again she's one of the most important artists of the millennia
Nazareth Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I still haven’t finished it, if I’m being honest
Dragonfly Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Still a flawless masterpiece from start to finish
Velvet Night Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Her worst album, I haven’t listened to it in months. I just can’t get into it.
Nick_317 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 It ages like fine wine just like all her other albums
Nikko Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 A bottom3 Lana album for me, but a tad bit better than COCC. I haven't played it since release month
the good guy_duh Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Huge Lana fan here but I use this album the least tbh It's not bad by any means, it just kinda lacks the flavor
