I was especially hyped for these songs. 23 hours ago, GustavoBardusco said: Album scrapped/cancelled https://www.instagram.com/reel/CzbVDjesQGV/?igshid=YzBkZmg2dzM0YTEz What a bullshit excuse for as to why it was it was delayed when it's been obvious that it's because of the recent performance. It's on the label for not striking while the iron was hot and capitalizing off the momentum. 22 hours ago, Teacher said: There are previews of the songs on this site. Take a listen to what it would have sounded like. https://www.deejay.de/Sigala_Every_Cloud_LP_2x12_19439918331_Vinyl__1009156 Yo this would've been cute album im so mad at this and for the label doing him dirty smfh 22 hours ago, Cqmerqn said: What a silly decision… the vinyl have been pressed, so why not release it? The streams from the singles alone will help it chart high and stay afloat for a while. Unless, the song he’s referring to cannot he actually be released and if it’s on the (already pressed) vinyl, then I can see why. Although, they still could’ve released it digitally without that song. Odd. Annoyed that I won’t have the Sam Ryder or Ellie Goulding songs on vinyl tho, as I was looking forward to those (albeit didn’t pre-order). Does anyone know who the collabs were? Has this ever been a thing? Like vinyls were pressed on a sample that wasn't cleared that doesn't make any sense? Exactly it's not like he's some total flop this is not the way to go. It is so transparent that he obviously feels sometype of way about this. Hope that he can somehow bounce back so that his label can back off him or gets out of his contract with them asap. 16 hours ago, Edgy said: I was honestly confused, but now it makes sense why it was pushed back multiple times. Hopefully, the other songs will see the light of day. I'm not sure why they didn't just release it as a mixtape or something, excluding the song that didn't clear. Yeah just release it to recoup and refund everyone's vinyls and have him make up for it by touring. 14 hours ago, RadioactiveLights said: This will definitely leak since it's already been pressed Hope it does and that it forces them to release it officially to cut their losses 13 hours ago, Polgg48 said: for reference, i see this album around from beginning of the year and alas. the loss for UK music industry I'm confused by what you mean by this 8 hours ago, Delirious said: Damnnn wtf I'm so sad. All by myself is a BANGER And to me all of his singles have been bangers 8 hours ago, BryceG said: It sucks but scrapping the album means tracks can get released back to their producers, and some of these will end up with other artists, no doubt. It also won't count towards his record deal, meaning the marketing budget is opened up for the next album. I expect this to leak in full sooner or later. But Sony/Ministry of Sound should just force clearance full. Sigala does a lot for them. This is one of those artists you bend over backwards to get over the line. Rita is you're seeing this snatch those tracks for yourself. You For Me was a banger. Yeah again it doesn't make sense that the sample didn't clear when it was able to be used and have vinyls pressed. This shouldn't ever happen. I actually feel bad for him. 7 hours ago, Joesuxx said: It’s still available on rough trade, maybe they’re rebranding the album and pushing with some newer music? The stores locked so they could be updating. Why not just release it as a digital album only and scrap that sampled track. Also if anything this should scare other artists straight and force people to get more creative cause this recent of lazily sampling songs to secure has gotten out of control. I'm gonna need him to start the new era asap and have an album ready to drop asap.
Jukebox Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Quote I made these songs 2-3 years ago and I don’t feel like the album is a representation of who I am now. As if the album wasn’t just random Capital FM bops with random label-assigned collabs, like come on. It’s a shame because the song with AU/RA and a few of the other snippets actually sound better than most of the singles. What a shame, hopefully they find their way out some day.

Sigala’s low sales would still be more than most of their roster combined. That’s definitely not the reason. The album isn’t a money maker regardless. The cut they get from him touring is. 1
BADDEST Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Do we know what the song was that had the sample that didn't get passed and what the sample was?
