I mean a history of their recent sales would be appreciated to actually see their "decline"

They used to sell 1 million copies in a day from 2011-2020, but their decline started last year.

Is there a theory why?

They used to sell copies by the truckload because they contained tickets for "handshake events" to meet the members of the group. After COVID things had to change because of restrictions and most things are online now instead so their sales have become a third of what they once were. If those events return I could see the sales going up again. They used to release multiple singles a year but since then they've only released 1 single a year as well.
