Also I saw someone mention circulation. Try eating a lot of beats. I boil a pot of them and they'll last me for a week. If you don't like eating beats then you can mix beat extract/powder with juice or water. My fingers, feet, and toes used to be freezing cold because of bad circulation, and now they never are, and bad/low circulation will also cause balding/thinning.

I assume you meant beet? Do you know if theres any difference between boiled and fermented. I’ve noticed less headaches when eating fermented ones.

Rosemary oil and eat lean protein.

As a few users have already pointed out, the only approved treatments are finasteride or rogaine. Don't waste your money on things that aren't proven to work. Definitely see your doctor and ask about finasteride.

My dad got micro needling with vitamins, along with minoxidil, finasteride, another thing I have no idea what it was but it's injected in the scalp plus vitamin c and iron in pills.

It worked very well I was scared of how good the results were. Btw minoxidil won't grown any hair if the follicle is death or non existent. If you start using it make sure to never skip a day.

Edit: if the hairloss is caused by genetics and hereditary, there's no way to run from it. All this will just slow it down

Hello everyone,

it seems I am experiencing hair loss probably due stress. As far as I read, it seems it could at least 6 to 9 months before it starts growing back (if it grows back).

I wanted to ask, if you know of any hair successful hair growth treatments you have used before?

what happened to you? what worked for you? how long it took?

help me in my time of needs :cries:

Hello sis. I'm using finasteride, and four months in I am pretty sure it's working. For the first time in forever, when I brush my hair, almost no hair comes falling out. Also I believe my hair got a bit thickened too as I feel like I don't notice the spot I was balding as much :alexz: If you are balding due to actual hair loss (and not just stress) you should consider finasteride and do your research and then ask a dermatologist on their thoughts as well

i've read this medication causes erectile dysfunction and reduces body hair :chick1: is that true?

It may cause that, however from what I hear it's not that frequent? Also you may experience symptoms for a little while, but it can go away.

only LEGIT proven treatment is finasteride and minoxidil but they both have intense side effects (lowers sperm count, causes erectale dysfunction and minoxidil can cause some heart issues even if it is just a topical on the scalp).

Rosemary oil and a dermapen / derma stamp weekly can help but it does not usually bring back dead hair. It just thickens what you already have and strengthens it which is good. it also makes the hairs thicker which gives the appearance of a higher hair count which helps.

Overall the best combo is finasteride, minoxidile, rosemary oil and dermastamping once a week BUT the first two are honestly risky AF. If you decide to go with them you should really be cautious about the side effects in like your first month or two of using them and the minute you notice some weird side effects tell your doctor and ask to be off the meds as soon as possible. You'll lose more hair by the way if you start those two and then stop using them so you REALLY have to be careful with your choice. They are life long commitments and can be costly too. So choose wisely.

In my opinion, I am starting to have a bit too many hairs falling when I shower and though my hair seems ok I think I should prob start it early to avoid damaging my hairline. So I'll prob be on minoxidile and finasteride and do the dermastamping and rosemary but i'll only do it for like 2 decades. I'm close to my mid twenties soon so i'll only really care about my looks through the rest of my twenties and 30s. By my like mid 40s i'll prob give up a bit and just stop taking both and accept baldness should it come. Mid 40s is a reasonable age to accept possibly being bald or having a receded hairline. To have those issues show up as early as your 20s or 30s is deffinetly not something one has to accept and fighting it is reasonable. We're in the peak of our beauty in our 20s and 30s so we wanna enjoy them right? And losing hair can be an insecurity (even though lots of bald guys are hot AF) but yeah...if your hair is a big part of your looks and if you really care about it then fight for it but if its not too important then I say just learn to accept it. The side effects and long term costs to keep your hair using finasteride and minoxidile are not worth it if it's not something so important to you.

You can just stick with finasteride in the beginning IMO. If finasteride works good enough, why use minox if you don't have to right? Also do you use rosemary oil? I've been hearing it's effective too so I may add it into the mix.

And that just made me realize, @Gabe² you can also consider using Nizoral or a shampoo with ketocanzole. Apparently that shampoo has a similar effect like finasteride as slowing the conversion of testosterone to DHT (?)

You're probably right tbh. Like I do not have any noticeable hairloss yet. I'm just noticing too many hairs falling off when I shower which is a problem but deff could prob be handled with just finasteride. I hear that Finasteride can revive some hairs but do you know if that is common? Like i'd hope the stuff I lost could be returned just wiht finasteride hopefully...

Yes rosemary oil helps for sure! and microneedling the scalp / problem areas. It does not exactly revive hair but it does strengthen what you have enormously so combining finasteride, rosemary oil and microneedling with a dermastamp (super cheap on amazon) can help you keep what you already have and slow down the process enormously. Minoxidile though is usually the only thing that can revive dead hairs or dying hair but if you are still super super early in the hairloss process you dont need it (plus it is the most expensive and has scary heart related side effects).

I'm curious about the ketocanzole shampoo! heard of it but never took it serious for some reason. Does it actually help? I'd love to only stick to like finasteride, rosemary oil, dermastamping and that shampoo if possible. Minoxidile is itchy allegedly and just has too many worrysome side effects

Idk if it's common, but some people have had that happen to them. The best you can hope for is that finasteride will stop any further hairloss and anything else is a plus. Also if you use rosemary oil, how do you use it? Do you just add some into your shampoo?

Ketocanzole may help, it at least helps with itching haha.
