Imagine the collapse if she performs Picture to Burn for the first time since the fearless tour:WAP:

I’d take that over any other debut song tbh

Lol bye, nobody thinks it's a snooze since it's her best album. The tour is for fans hence "Eras", Maroon is the best song on Midnights while VS is the worst. Next.

The entire audience was seated for Folklore at my show, with significantly less people singing. I love folklore but it doesn’t really resonate with the audience in a stadium methinks.

People were living for the VS performance cause she served SEX :flame:

As much as I dislike VS and LOVE LOVE Maroon, the performance of VS is clearly one of the favorite from what I've seen on social media.

Even tho VS is the worst on Midnights, the performance makes me lowkey glad she chose it for the set

i will be disappointed if the audience at the show I end up going to is seated for folklore and evermore. Why did so many locals end up with tickets

There’s ANOTHER viral trend on Swiftok using Picture to Burn (this time the skit intro to the music video the goes into the song). It’s too bad she hates it because it keeps having moments on TT

maybe if she had added mirrorball and didn't cut outro of august people would be UP!

You might be right about that. I just love Maroon sm, but for real the other songs I pointed out were not necessary. State of Grace and Red's presence is missing bad. DB1000C also needed her moment :cries:

YOYO,K (and Long Live) are like the entire concept of the Eras tour condensed into a song. It’s crazy she chose songs like Mastermind and The Man over them.

that was my thought too, like the you’re on your own kid bridge is literally the eras and long live being left off shocked me but i know she was trying to leave songs off that she doesn’t own yet

I sat down during all of folklore. I needed a break. Everyone around me was seated too.

It's simple, really. Ticketmaster screwed up and didn't consider boosts. I had the Lover Fest boost AND the merch boost and still didn't get tickets on my main account while I was able to snatch tickets on my cousin's account who didn't have any boost for the exact same date :deadbanana2:

I’m going to see her this weekend! For anyone that saw her in Glendale:

1) what’s the energy like? I went to a lot of concerts recently and a lot of them have been mid in terms of crowd energy.

2) does she change up any of the songs, to make them more interesting live? Or does she just sing them straight like the studio versions?

She is usually one of the best at revisiting the songs in the live version but this time the pop acts (Red, 1989, rep and midnights) are really similar to the live version. Rep songs are different but they are the same as in the rep tour, i don't know if you have seen It.

Fearless songs are also similar to the original versions. Folklore and evermore are the more revisited.

I think the choice Is because 1) It's a greatest hits show 2) the concept Is about the eras so every song has the specific sound of that era.

Serious question: Why only 1 song from Speak Now?

An account that's always leaking who's coming to Mexico said the announcement of LatAm dates is imminent: :duca::duca::duca:

If these breaks in between stops are to make up for new song rehearsals, I'll die.

It'll make for a marvelous special series/career documentary after she gets professional footage from every tour stop

I feel like the setlist was made before the midnights release because her favourite tracks are the ones on the setlist. They all are the big pop moments on midnights and their lyrics video also have more budget. She probably also expected them to be the best performing tracks which wasn't wrong except for the two tracks. Still, the YOYOK snub isn't cute knowing she loves to say (pretend :gaylorcat1:) she knows what we want.

songs with 250 mil+ on spotify rn:

antihero

lavender haze

midnight rain

+ then bejeweled has a video and everything

no other obvious essentials so she can choose what she wants to perform regardless of whining

I didn't want to look at the setlist before this weekend but I gave in...Sorry but LOSER should have 3 songs max. I get she's never toured it but...let it die.

She's really performing The Man, The Archer and YNTCD instead of State of Grace or Red, or any of the extra RED tracks.

Maybe it's cause I'm a RED stan but when I think of RED I think of the title track, All Too Well and State of Grace not the singles.

No exile, only one Speak Now song. Be serious.

She must really love Bad Blood. :rip:

All the songs being performed are getting boosts on streaming. If she releases SNTV before the 2nd leg of the tour I bet she'll perform more from it.

No other obvious essential is such a lie. The album wouldn't be this successful if it only has those songs as essential songs for midnights. No one is asking the fan favourite and better album tracks to take those 4 songs + karma spots.

I can't believe this is consider whining. Never fail to make other fans feel less for wanting what the majority of fans want. I'm out.

if the majority wanted something the numbers would show it.

just b/c atrl's fave is yoyok doesn't mean it's actually the #1 fave.

...anywho, good to see emma stone getting excited at the opening. feels like we haven't seen taylor + emma together in eons.

YOYOK was having the most daily streams before the tour other than AH/LH/MR. And it's definitely not an ATRL thing, check Reddit, TikTok, Twitter, it's definitely a fan fave on Midnights across Swifties on different platforms.

I don't know why you keep shooting down people's suggestions with stone cold statistics with no nuance. Not everything is about numbers :dies: If that's the case I guess IDWLF should be the closing song.

if taylor's performing what taylor wants to perform, i'm happy for her and grateful we have a tour after 5 years, that leaves nothing essential off the setlist.

My personal opinions are that the best song of each album include:

Fearless - the way i loved you

1989 - clean

Reputation - i did something bad

Lover - cornelia street

Folklore - mad woman

Midnights - Would've, Could've, Should've

0 of those are on the setlist, but i'm not taking it as a personal affront.
