Blaming high shipping/logistic cost kinda lame because she definitely will sell out and generate ample revenue to cover back the cost. She's just lazy and racist

SEA basically her biggest fan but she keeps paying us dust I hate her :deadbanana4:

Anyone disregarding logistics as the main factor in her not touring that side of the world is just outright being dumb tbh

She could and should compromise bit of profit to reach to those who have been hyping her every project up.

Phillipines getting disrespected like this will never not be sad

What is that big black thing at the back of the seating charts for the Australian shows? DELETE IT or put it somewhere else and make more seats available back there.

Also do they really need 2 celeb tents taking up all that space? Who the hell gon be in there the koalas, 5 SOS, Cody Simpson, tasmanian devils and kangaroos??:rip:

Nah it only makes sense if it doesn't bring profit but we all know she will get a lot of money touring here + all main cities in SEA are not even far away to each other. She's bigger than Coldplay in SEA, the demand is off the roof :deadbanana4:

Well, if you have a look at Asia map, you would notice that if you wanna ship a humongous stage around, it would have to be via ships. Unlike America or EU, which can be shipped via trucks/trains and take significantly less time to do so.

Plus freight cost for international touring cost 3 times more than before the pandemic. Not to mention the tons of fees to enter and perform in each country per night, which is not a case for EU touring. EU has the world's best support system for touring with their infrastructures, promoter network, etc.

China is having a whole Hallyu Ban, which bans foreign artists to do concert in the country (even BTS can't enter). So no Taiwan either.

Malaysia and Indonesia have huge conservative majority and her tour would be considered as haram here.

And her huge stage would mean most of Asia won't have stadiums big enough for her.

Taiwan's government is not China's and the way they oversee entertainment is completely different. Coldplay literally has dates at their stadium :rip:

Coldplay puts on a rocket concert not a pop spectacule.  Their concerts are amazing but they require a much less complicated setup for Taylor.

Her tour would have to completely redesigned to make the SEA dates work and it isn't worth it for Taylor or her promoters considering her demand is through the roof everywhere. She would have definitely toured the Philippines if they had a stadium but there venues have such limited floor space that she would have to play an acoustic concert as no parts of her stage would fit.

Anyway, concerts can easily lose money for the promoters even if they sell out if the logistics are to expansive which is the case right now.  Taylor's Chile, Thailand and potentially other dates fell through because the promoters projected that even with Taylor's demand putting on the tour would lose them money.

Basically, planning these concert tours is extremely hard. Taylor doesn't hold a grudge a country just because she isn't touring there and her team knows more about how to plan a good tour than atrlers.

also idg why she skipped taiwan and sk, they both have large stadiums and CN swifties would have flown to either quite easily :rip:

If logistic is the problem then she won't tour Singapore to begin with. She did Red Tour in Malaysia and Philippines before, generated profits despite lower capacity so all excuses kinda make no sense. Stop defending her ass, she did Asian so dirty :deadbanana2:

Realistically speaking the biggest snubs were Canada, Philippines, Belgium, Chile, Peru and Indonesia

The biggest sneak is definitely Poland

its not like Bruno is exactly huge either, people would have gone just cause shes famous and swifties from surrounding countries could fill in the gaps (especially since getting tickets for tokyo dome is notoriously hard for foreigners)

yeah she's not even t100 on spotify in korea. france 92, japan 78.

crazy how much more she's touring this time around, when with rep she had 0-2 countries per continent.

Malaysia and Philippines were arenas as Red was mostly an arena tour. She literally doesn't have a stage for an arena tour anymore.  She can't cater her tour around a few countries where she stadiums don't fulfill her demand across the whole glove.

Having a few Asian dates where she can have multiple shows  in full pledge stadiums makes the most sense as it takes several days for the stages to be shipped between dates. She is likely going to have at least six shows for Singapore and at least four for Japan.  Its the hub model.

Belgium is not a snub lol. There’s a show literally an hour drive each way.

These Aus dates are awful.

Swifties from NZ, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide are all going to be fighting for a ticket not to mention people from non capital cities and the other states.

Why on earth is she skipping locations she's always been to?

Posted

The Belgians need to stop being insufferable there are literally half a dozen shows within 2 hours of your country :skull:

Thr Philippines situation is sad but her stage doesn't fit and all of the biggest venues are owned by a religious organization that might not have been happy about some of the performances. Same goes for the Muslim countries in SEA. Thailand and Taiwan should get a date though imo :chick3:

She did this even in the US. Inexplicably skipping DC and the entire capital region, and many Midwestern cities she always did even through reputation. She's focusing her efforts very deeply on Europe this time around.

Coldplay have six dates in Singapore yet they are still touring Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines. Logistics isn't really an issue considering those countries are closed to each others. :deadbanana2:

Dc is getting skipped since their stadium is in notoriously terrible shape. It leaked sewage on people during a football game this  year.

But her current tour is already twice the length of the whole rep tour and more dates for each venue are definitely going to be added. The new dates in Europe and Latin America required  some of her usual locations to be cut to make time for them.

Not you specifically, but Taylor having so many dates for a 3+ pop concert is really unprecedented.  The amount of dates she has already seem unsustainable for anyone's health but she is somehow managing. Basically, fans really can't expect her to tour any more than she is.  She is really dedicating herself to the tour but her popularity is so high and the production so complicated that  a high number fans are inevitably going to be left out.

What part of shipping being more  expensive and complicated than driving do you not understand. Taylor requires 90 trucks for her concert. Coldplay as a  band  just needs their instruments and pyrotechnics. They require significantly less amount of material to transport which makes their logistics easier and cheaper.

Taylor is doing a ridiculous amount of dates. She isn't snubbing countries that stan her for no reason.

I guess I’ll go to the Singapore date!!!
