Overall, Grande was bigger but she had released more albums and had far more hits in her arsenal but Cabello was certainly competition then. Fast forward to 2022, Cabello is nothing compared to the others but that’s because her career completely decelerated. "Havana" (and "Senorita" for that matter) are still bigger than any Ariana song, yes bigger than even "Thank U Next" and "7 Rings". Camila's entire current career path, ability to get signed to Interscope, be on the Voice, do the FIFA final or whatever that was, etc is based on those two enormous hits. Those are the kind of hits that you can live off of for a loooong time. They were Umbrella/We Found Love-sized hits. YES I said what I said. The numbers do not lie. They were truly humongous and will be future classics.

Dance Monkey was bigger than any of those you mentioned and Tones and I won't live off of them, and maintaining a popstar's payola and status on the media is much more expensive.... and the label will only do as much...
Kamil24 Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 oh wow, impressive I wonder what the total is globally?
