We remember because, in 2017/2018, it was arguably true, especially with relation to Dua Lipa. 
 

“Havana” was a massive Global hit, bigger than anything Lipa had ever released at the time, as well as Grande, and the accompanying album had performed very well also. Overall, Grande was bigger but she had released more albums and had far more hits in her arsenal but Cabello was certainly competition then. 
 

Fast forward to 2022, Cabello is nothing compared to the others but that’s because her career completely decelerated.

Is this tweet real or not? Because I've been trying to find out Familia's total sales for a while now.

 

265K is definitely where I picture the total sales being atm. It's a shame this album will probably never get any certification, it will probably be eligible for gold within the next 2 years & Epic might've certified this had she stayed with them. But this obviously won't happen now. Same for Bam Bam, I doubt Epic will ever buy the platinum certification for that.

 

My hopes are:

1. Familia - Gold - 2024

2. Don't Go Yet - Platinum - late 2023

3. Bam Bam - 2x Platinum - late 2023

(Not that Epic will pay for these anyway)
