So this is receiving mixed reviews, I guess I should skip it.

if critically acclaimed tv shows have a hard time finding their audience and gettin renewed, if this has mixed reviews it's doomed from the get go

especially since it's already expensive to make

 

HBO can't afford to do this unlike Amazon, they seriously need a better filter before the shows are produced and out into the world

It was a great first episode. So many great moments.
The wedding scene with the child was so awkward in particular.

Valya is kind of a girlboss  Love me some Bene Gesserit and their scheming

Desmond Hart is an interesting character, I wonder how exactly he can burn up people... He's definitely hiding something

I felt bad for the kid... he was just a victim of circumstance

It kinda sent me that the show is set in the far future but the club music is same tired cheap ass beats  Like play some SOPHIE instead idk

Good opener.  Desmond really shook **** up from the jump

I was expecting some kind of twist with Desmond but I never could have predicted THAT. Really enjoyed the episode, can't wait for next week
