The child laughing at the start and end of Just For You - is that Ellie's child?

It was cute to include those parts.

The album is very generic, but that's what Ellie became.

The singles were picked correctly, so it's sad everything pretty much flopped.

From the non-singles, only "How Long" caught my attention.

How Long as everyone agrees is the worst song on the album by a very large margain so complaining about the album being generic and then liking the most generic song on the album is such a kii. :deadbanana2:

How is How Long the most generic song on the album? The gays don't like it and it somehow makes it the most generic? Literally quite the opposite as the gays here love generic songs so if they find this song as the worst then it makes it the least generic. Make it make sense Ms Delirious :deadbanana2:

Girl you have to be joking right? "How Long" is obviously the most generic and bland and uninspired song on the album by the long shot. It's safely done generic trap pop - which is even worse than normal generic synth/electro pop to a lot of gays. Also while some gays do like generic pop, a whole lot don't. Which is why they did not like Mabel's album (while I did) or why a few didn't like Ava Max's recent offering (I loved it tho)

Regardless of sound, just take a look at the lyrics. How can this NOT be the most generic song on the album? :deadbanana2: It's literally this:

How long? How long? How long? How long? (How long?)
How long till you're out of my head?
How long? How long? How long? How long? (How long?)
How long till you're back in my bed?
How long? How long? How long? How long?
How long till you're out of my head?
How long? How long? How long? How long?
How long till you're back in my bed?

[Post-Chorus]
(Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)
How long till you're out of my head?
(Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)
How long till you're back in my bed?

I love it though but the more I play it the more it's becoming annoying. It's mainly because of the insanely repetitive nature of the song.

But... the synth-pop/dance pop has been the most generic sound in pop for the last 3 years and half of the songs sound like they were literal copies of Love Me Like You Do like Just For You or Midnights Dreams just sounds like your typical The Weeknd track :deadbanana: "trap" pop peaked like 5 years ago and at least it has a different vibe than most of the album with the dark tone while everything else just plays off of the Future Nostalgia wave :deadbanana:

also IMAGINE coming for lyrics as if the entire album didn't look like it, delusional behavior I fear :deadbanana: at least How Long's repetition makes sense as it points out her frustation so it fits there, while other songs just repeat it for the sake of it so imagine saying it's the most uninspired when the rest literally sounds like a Mabel album

I've been waiting for it, waiting for it (Ooh)
Waiting for it and now I've got it
Waiting for it, waiting for it
Waiting for it and now I've got it
Waiting for it, waiting for it (Ooh)
Waiting for it and now I've got it
Waiting for it, waiting for it, oh

But love goes on and on
And on and on and on (On and on and on)
My love goes on and on
And on and on and on (On and on and on)
My love goes on and on
And on and on and on (On and on and on)
My love goes on (My love goes on)
My love goes on (My love goes on)
My love goes on

Like a saviour (Like a saviour)
Out of the dark (Out of the dark)
Like a saviour
Out of the dark (Oh, out of the dark)

It's literally one of the best songs on the album and the only single-worthy song left...

Girl if you still dont think "How Long" is the most generic song on here then that's on you. I'm sure many others would agree  that "How Long" is the most generic, repetitive, bland and uninspired song on HTH by a HUGE margin.

Also comparing HTH to Mabel's last album gave me a chuckle because they're very different sonically. :rip:

It use to be one of my faves but now it's the most annoying song on the album along with "All By myself" & "HTH" :rip:

It was never my #1, it was the #1 album track imo.

It would've stayed being one of my faves if the song was shortened by a long shot and the chorus was only repeated twice. They ****** up hard by repeating the chorus 3 times

Midnight Dreams is carrying my album plays at the moment. :jonny:

Where's the Deluxe with MIRACLE though.
