It took me a couple of spin on my record to appreciate the album. I think its going to wind up being my 3rd overall favorite of theirs pushing Hyperion in to last.

Separate World is a good one.

Take Me Away, Touch, Give Me The Night are my 1-2-3 punch of the album.

Memory and Hey Now are the weakest of the album.

Shame is such a fun track very different for St. Lucia a very moody and dark vibe.

I think most of my favorites were the pre-released first few songs from that EP, but this is still good! Definitely better than the last album, but for me doesn't touch their first two.

Separate World, Another Lifetime, Rocket on My Feet, Take Me Away, & Touch probably make up some sort of top 5 for me. )( is kind of great as well? They could have expanded it to be some massive Stay-like song if they really wanted.

I came across Separate World ages ago and it is such a fkn smash.

Need to listen to the full thing now :jonny:

Oh really ? I loved Memory, it felt like a breath of fresh air. Hey Now was indeed underwhelming.

I'm shocked at seeing most of you guys saying that their first albums are much better than this, because to me this is already excellent. I can't wait to dive into their discography.

Yeah agreed this doesn't touch the first 2 albums, but still a lot of highlights and stuff to love here. Seeing them live again later in the month.

Touch is a classic in their discog already though for me.

I think My biggest problem with Memory is the placement of the track I think it would make a better closing track.

When The Night and Matter are two of my favorite albums of all time. Master classes in euphoric synthpop.

Hyperion has its moments but Utopia seems to be what they were aiming to make when they made Hyperion. Utopia seems to take the ideas and sounds they tried in Hyperion and flesh them out much better.

I like Two Moons, on instagram Jean-Philip said he had originally intended for Utopia to be a double album and Two Moons was going to be part of the second album. Plans changed and now he is working on the next record. Hopefully we don’t have to wait 5 years this time.

I haven’t listened to the live album yet.

A few tracks grew on me… This is such a solid record overall! My only skip would be "Shame" (It's not bad, it's just a different vibe from St. Lucia)
