gagacasanova Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 (edited) 2nd single from Denim & Rhinestones https://carrie.lnk.to/HateMyHeartPR Hate My Heart on the charts #60 Billboard Country Airplay Edited November 8, 2022 by gagacasanova
Crank_It_Up Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Pink Champagne and Crazy Angels were literally RIGHT there. This feels way too safe and cookie-cutter for it to really have an impact.
Schami66 Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 The only song from the album that I didn't like.
livelikemusic Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 She needs to go back to Sony Nashville and ditch her management. The single cover is heinous.
Mezik Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I actually love the single cover. I think this was also the safe single choice. As well, can we talk about Carrie still managed to get a higher peaking single then 3/4 singles from CP and a single chart 20 weeks on the BB 100 again? I’d say that’s a success.
Tylerbv Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 This is like the worst single choice. It's too abrasive for radio (see: Drinking Alone) and doesn't tackle anything new lyrically. Should've been Pink Champagne if they wanted a dumb party song, or Burn.

It's been nearly 10 years since she's had a 20+ week single, alone of course. I really think radio truly saved Ghost Story, along with album release week.
Bentley Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 This puta… I don’t know what’s happened to her but her single selections these last 2 eras have been a CHOICE! Burn and Pink Champagne or even Crazy Angels would have been 100 percent better than this
LovaticSwiftie Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Wrong choice, Burn should be the second single!
Dylan' Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 this is like the last song they should have released lol I loved the album too
GVet Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 Agree with the sentiment they had so much better options. I mean Burn and crazy angels is literally right there! They’re not going to get really any hype from the general public with this…
aedeus Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Literally the worst song on the record. Burn was such a strong option and she decides to release... this? It's official: Carrie hates this album...
Rylary Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Am i the only one here that actually likes this song? I actually thought she was going to go with Velvet Heartbreak next, surprised she chose this. Now me liking this song doesnt mean I agree with the single choice. I'm still unsure how I feel about it. Let me wait till the video. This could be like Southbound, who knows!
Polgg48 Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 chorus is catchy but i dont like this choice at all. nonetheless this single will serve damage control from ghost story which was already a choice, my prediction is barely top 10 country radio by next year.
trainsskyscrapers Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 (edited) Not getting my hopes up on a dual Pop-Hot AC / Country single situation, but I find it interesting that she's performing "Crazy Angels" at the AMAs. (just announced) The graveyard of potential pop/hot ac singles is getting pretty big now: Quitter, Songs Like This, Blown Away, See You Again, Good In Goodbye, Heartbeat (w/ an edited single version more prominently featuring Sam Hunt), Clock Don't Stop, End Up With You, Backsliding, Southbound, and now Crazy Angels / Pink Champagne. OrgVisual Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 Just now, gagacasanova said: She needs to pander to the younger crowd a bit instead of focusing on the soccer moms
Bentley Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 Why would she not perform her current single at the cmas? The self sabotage
Bethenny Frankel Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 what a disaster of a single to choose
Rylary Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 She's also not performing this at the AMAs, what a mess!!!
gagacasanova Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 #60 debut on Billboard's Country Airplay chart.
Tylerbv Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 Everything about this era is the worst The video is cute at least - something different than her last 15 videos.
bruninho Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 It's so weird reading this topic since this is my favorite song on the album from the very first listen lol
