Although people were being annoying with the loud talking. Yeah it was a bit basic and could have used some more kills, but great popcorn flick and my niece loved it! I think the audience wanted the movie to lean more on the scary rather than the campy. the marketing was genius but at the same time you got the usual horror crowd who will rip it to shred Quote "No shade to Universal, love them, and I understand that once the trailer went viral, teenagers got involved and you want them to be able to see it. There should be an unrated version at some point. ... I heard it is on the books. But yes, it was way gorier. Her body count in the script was higher than in the movie. It wasn’t a Gabriel [in Malignant]-scale massacre, but she did kill a bunch more people, including a couple of characters whom James was like, 'I like what you did with those people, but I want them to live.' I was merciless, but again, that is me. My humor is extremely dark." wait for the unrated director's cut

Roman Holiday Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I think the PG13 rating was kinda smart. It makes the movie more accessible to younger kids and they’ll grow up with Megan nostalgia to keep the franchise afloat for years. Part 2 needs to be R tho.
BIAATCH Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I was surprised at the amount of kids that were watching this, i thought i was at a disney movie opening

Sonny Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Thought it was genius, funny and camp but it could've used a bit more horror. Enjoyed it a lot tho, M3GAN is mother.
Konril Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 The theater I'm watching had lots of old folks watching. Ngl, I felt underwhelmed. Yes, it was funny and campy, needed more killing and horror tbh. Might do a rewatch if a Rated R director's cut comes to streaming.
