Just watched this last night and the theater was full and seated for Megan.

Spoiler

I thought it wasn’t bad. I just feel like the movie being PG-13 made it lose most of its charm but it’s very campy and fun. The plot felt predictable to me, but overall enjoyable.

The way she basically killed that boy in the campgrounds was wild though.

This will have a good opening weekend considering there isn’t a lot going on in January when it comes to films, honestly.

Early Friday estimate. M3GAN is smashing.

$10.7M opening day. Can still change as it is very early. But locks up $25M for the wknd.

Avatar is going to win the weekend by like $10M lol.

M3GAN's OD is very good but also has the Thursday previews lumped in.

just came back and LOVED it. My crowd was in stitches for most of the movie, one of the best in theater experiences I've had in a while. This is WAY funnier than it needs to be, even if the plot is a little basic.

Just came back. This was definitely a lot of fun, great for a crowded theater. Although people were being annoying with the loud talking.

Yeah it was a bit basic and could have used some more kills, but great popcorn flick and my niece loved it!

This was good campy fun. Not scary and I wish there were a couple more kills but really entertaining.

wow that's an awful grade if you ratio with the glowing reviews

I think the advertising was double egde sword with this one. I think the audience wanted the movie to lean more on the scary rather than the campy.

the marketing was genius but at the same time you got the usual horror crowd who will rip it to shred

Isn’t B pretty standard for horror movies? Smile has a B- and still smashed. Barbarian has a C+.
