Hector Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 The fact that there were many posters on ATRL that stanned her at one point.

Her Kamala drag was funny, but... that's about it from her. Her anti-war perspective was also unique when held up against the near-entire rest of the primary field which comprised of warmongers who were either already full-fledged war criminals deserving of being detained in The Hague (Biden) or were aspiring to be (Buttigieg and most of the rest). But, it was always marred by her Islamophobia and deference to the Hindu nationalist Modi. Bernie was always the better option, and even Warren's race-faking self would have been marginally more acceptable policy-wise. IMO, the fact that her anti-war perspective could even be considered as "unique" is a damning indictment of the Democratic Party rather than an endorsement of Tulsi Gabbard's candidacy. 16 minutes ago, Espresso said: Despise identity politics and yet its all they have left as a policy platform to motivate turnout. Projection really is an artform with these people. Karl Rove and Christopher Rufo would know. Well, I mean. Policy in general doesn't turn people out unless something is facing the threat of being taken away. Bernie, who pushed M4A and free college, was comfortably defeated by the candidate who said he would veto those things.

When you say that, it really makes me think that maybe it's not the politics that's broken but the people. Like people at large are so goddamn selfish.
helikesitheymikey Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Tulsi Gabbard is a russian asset. We already know this!
infrared Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Ok cool. Does she think republicans will accept her? She’s such a joke
LustSpell Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 FINALLY. The way I always saw through her two-faced bullshit from her being extremely homophobic in the past and tried so hard to bury it, but it kept leaking out more and more until the grifter status was completely obvious. The fact some people stanned her only bc she "slayed Hillary & Kamala” when she was just a clown the entire time. Pathetic and horrible woman that won't be missed.
kandicha Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 not surprised at all lol, just surprised she didn't do it sooner
Zoomer Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I agree with her, same reason I shifted towards the center. I genuinely wouldn’t be mad or surprised if Trump won the next election.
Jotham Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 This was so obvious from a mile away, I will never understand why she had so many stans in the progressive world.
Harrier Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I hate this grifting, homophobic, opportunist ***** so much Proud to say I saw her for what she is right from the beginning

Like people at large are so goddamn selfish. Truly, it's both. You don't have deep inequality ravaging your populace without a political system that is resistant to change, and you don't have an intransigent political system that persists without a complacent populace that has been successfully convinced by the ruling elites that better things aren't possible. The only thing that mattered to Democratic Primary voters was defeating Donald Trump. Improving society through policy change was an afterthought, which was hilarious considering how much oxygen was wasted during the debates on how to improve our broken health care. When the actual outcome was the guy who lost every debate and came out of them looking like a dazed and confused old man that didn't even really comprehend the nature of what was being discussed... was gifted the nomination. Which is what showed then and there that policy didn't matter.
BowWow Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Good riddance. Ding dong the cultist clown is gone !
Oxy Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 If I was an American I wouldn’t be part of each party. it baffles me that a nation this big has two big parties with the others being non existence, while other smaller nations have 4 and more.
Bhabylon Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Surprise surprise, she’s a gay-hating white nationalist
GhostBox Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 I thought she already did this years ago ? bye witch don’t let the door hit ya on your way out to Fox News ???????????
The7thStranger Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Remembering all those Tulsi Gabbard flyers in the trash at rallies... Dems never trusted her, and with good reason. She was always terrible.
Archetype Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 This is the outcome the people who defended this obvious fraud years back deserve. This is what you get for being dumb.
commander Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 Decrying anti-white racism is just code for white supremacy.

Let's not pretend like as though the only thing that changed her place as Democratic insider to outsider was saying the DNC was against Bernie. She would literally be the head of the DNC if such never happened on an alternate timeline.

Her numbers were always in the toilet.

Her numbers were always in the toilet. This shows you don't even know the history we are talking about. Quote As the Democratic nominee, Gabbard spoke at the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the invitation of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who called Gabbard "an emerging star."[97][98] Quote While a member of Congress, she served as a vice chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) from 2013 to 2016 She was literally a Democratic Party darling who was poised to become the head of the DNC. To say "Democrats never trusted her" is nonsense and would indicate someone having a political knowledge that doesn't go back beyond 2020. She was lauded and awarded by the party while having a homophobic past. That didn't matter to them. Her place in the party objectively only changed because she endorsed Bernie and said the DNC was rigging the primary in 2016. So to go "oh we knew it all along" or frame her claim to fame as rooted in the left is nonsense and shows somehow who doesn't actually know much about politics when looking back on who Tulsi Gabbard was and why her career is what it is now. She's deplorable and has awful views but let's be honest about how peopoe actually felt at the time. The left gave her a benefit of the doubt in 2016 cause it was a genuine risk to call out DNC corruption. The establishment gave her the benefit of the doubt because she's objectively attractive nd a military veteran.
