What are you confused about? :rip:

Exactly. And the most of the responses in here (and on Twitter) are basically from people who are interested in Israel, not the actual victim and racism.

oop I didn't see the image and I was like "how could u confuse an Indian and a Chinese":rip:

Indian is a nationality, not a race. There are plenty of racially Mongoloid South Asians. :rip:

Interesting how little attention this thread received.

It's crazy to witness such clear and blatant ethnic cleansing right in the Mediterranean basin in the 21st century. It's so damn weird and sad. You imagine it's something that only happens in far away remote places but nope. It's literally right next door to Europe (not that Europe has been a safe haven but you get what I mean).

I agree with your general sentiment but it isn't crazy to witness such clear and blatant ethnic cleansing. This has been the reality of ethnic minorities and indigenous people in the middle east like the Yezidi and the Assyrians and, to an extent, Kurds not only for hundreds of years, but most prominently in the last 20 years of this millennium. It's just that Arabs have been doing the ethnic cleansing so no one has been paying attention or caring. This isn't crazy to me; it's not even a phenomenon. Rather, it's a middle eastern cultural norm of failing to respect cultural diversity.

People making it about the Israel-Palestinian situation whereas it has nothing to do with it

I am appalled by the behavior of these murderers. I hope justice bring them what they deserve and won’t discourage any Jew from anywhere in the world to emigrate in Israel if they want it. The saddest thing is probably they were fleeing persecution in India to find death this way in Israel.

The Israeli government needs to step up

What on Earth are you talking about? Jews fled to India centuries ago to escape persecution. It's well-known that India has been historically a place of refuge for persecuted people because Indian spiritual systems (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism) are historically tolerant. That's why the Dalai Lama escaped Tibet to live in India. There aren't many Jews left in India because most left for Israel, but some still remain. The biggest religious discrimination in India is against Muslims.
