I mean, IND, Funhouse and good chunk of TTAL are still (pop-)rock. She could easily go back to that sound if she wanted to (she doesn't). She ain't doing much commercially anyway and some artist manage to find success with pop rock lately so she could at least aim to please the core fans...

Yeah that's why I said BT/H2BH/TF. Her rock days are pretty much over. Seems like her pop-rock days are, too.

You+Me is a side project, actually it's the perfect chance to go Rock again if she didn't want to risk her own brand.

This is true. Hardly unlikely though, I don't think Y+M was conceived for this and as @Gabriel Guedes said they scream americana/folk. Especially Dallas. But imagine her doing a rock album  full of Broken Horses with Brandi :chick3: A (wet) dream.

I did once hope they will do something different this time, but yes, after that first promote pic, it killed my hope.

Break the Cycle was the only fad on that album.

so of course she chose it as a "single." :skull:

What do you mean? The strings are beautiful :ihype:

Dallas has his own rock band, but yeah, they won't do us that favor. I'll take anything that isn't soccer mom bait anyways s:wan:

It's a bit screechy to me and kind of all over the place melodically. What it does, Open Door does miles better.

You can say what you want about the melody but the lyrics are touching :jonnycat:

Quote

No one ever held you
But if you were mine
I would looked into those eyes
Love is louder than all your pain

Let's take our time
Don't we have to try?

I'd really love a rock album but if she has any concept at all, I'd take it. She just makes a bunch of songs and put them in order these days, with no thought...

Yeah the lyrics are its redeeming quality and I'm kind of bummed that I don't like this song because it probably has one of the most important meanings with the reconciliation w/ her mother and all that. But it kinda fell flat for me so I pretend Open Door is actually that song for her (though I believe it's about Dallas' personal life right?)

~put them in order is a REACH. The album starts with When I Get There, then transitions to Trustfall.

There's no order, just pure chaos

Didn't she say she doesn't like concept album or something? She wants her album full of different emotions, and the songs order is her insist, etc??

I mean ensuring that your album has a good flow is not really what a concept album is about.

Yes, she's been calling her albums a "mixed bag of emotions" since I'm Not Dead.

That's why we go from Beam Me Up to Walk Of Shame 🫠

On the strength of her fall North American tour along with February and March dates in Oceania, P!nk ranks second on the midyear tally with $196 million grossed from 42 shows.

Sooo...

She did ~$60m with the Trustfall Tour last year

So, how much has the tour grossed so far? I feel so lost with the numbers and reporting. Confusing.
